There is a restaurant near me that is paired with an Aikido dojo whose owner is from Yokohama so their food is just like I had when I was living there.

I just don't find the same crispness in the shrimp itself when it's grilled, but I do think it's pretty great as well~! Onto cocktail shrimp! 

And stop tempting me to eat shrimp, you know I don't stand a chance against your luring skills and charisma.  

 

And don't worry, that didn't come off insulting to me at all.

While I'm glad they loved it, they went to France to eat Japanese cuisine?  It just sounds a bit ironic to me.  

Either way, I'm happy they enjoyed it, maybe I'll go to the same restaurant when I go to France this August!

How could anyone resist them~?

In all seriousness, I'm not the biggest fan of shrimp cocktail; I just prefer them served alongside rice or something.

Oh no, they went for French food. There just so happened so be a Japanese place near their apartment. My dad is learning Japanese and loves sushi.

I second this. Frankly that is one thing I love about this fandom. Is how nice everypony seems to be most of the time
