"I've told you already." "Because I've fallen for you." "I don't know if it's love, because nobody has ever told me what that is supposed to feel like, but it is some kind of emotional attachment." "I felt like dying from seeing you almost die, and having you separate from me last night hurt more than any injury I've ever had." "You say you're holding me back, but holding me back from what?" "Another day of sitting alone in the darkness looking over my shoulder?" her grip tightened a little "The truth is, you don't hold me back, you keep me moving, without you, I have nothing to keep going for."

Oliver suddenly found himself regretting his doubts. He could see in Jenna's eyes that she was serious about what she said, that he was helping her to keep going.

"I just don't want you to get hurt because of me," he said.

"I get hurt because of myself." Jenna responded "Every injury I've had during all this would have happened regardless of if you would have been there, the only thing you changed was me having a bigger chance to survive from those injuries." "While I fight to keep you safe, I would have to fight even if you weren't here, they don't keep sending people because I met you, they keep sending them, because they want me dead, or captured." "Ultimately you're just collateral damage to them." "I know it may sound harsh, and I obviously see you as lot more, but to them, both the Order and Talon, you're just a smaller thorn stuck to the main thorn in their armored side, me being the main thorn." 

"That is partly why I'm so against impossible heroics." "As long as we are just two thorns, they'll now and then send someone trying to get rid of us, we can survive that, but if we do something bigger, something stupid, and somehow survive it, they'll send everyone, and at that point, there's no escape, no hiding place, no hope of survival."

"It just feels like I'm holding you back," Oliver said, looking at himself. "I can't do anything you can. I'm not as strong, I can't breathe fire, or anything like that. I can't really do much to protect you."

"Have you considered that maybe it's a good thing?" Jenna asked "The aggressive option is not always the best one." "It is true that in some aspects you do hold me back, you hold me back from making stupid, reckless decisions." "Your weaknesses force me to consider things from different angles, ultimately leading to better decisions." "And that, indirectly, also protects me."

"I guess I never thought about it like that," Oliver admitted, rubbing his arm. "I just don't want you to get hurt or worse just because I lagged behind or I got captured by these guys or something else."

"Remember that I'm the one who brought you into this, not the other way around." Jenna reminded, she gestured Oliver to stay low, they had reached the rail yard "And whatever happens to me, is entirely my own fault." she then grabbed Oliver tight and started pulling him with speed, half-running towards a train car, opening the door to it slightly, after which she pushed him in and climbed in after, closing the door. It was dark in there, pitch black in fact, and it was filled with boxes, but there was enough room to move around. "They were checking this train for departure, so it should move soon."

Oliver led Jenna drag him toward the train car and he got inside with her. He was glad to feel that there was space to move, despite not being able to see.

"Any idea where this train's going?" he asked.

"East" Jenna stated blandly, as she was heard going through her bag, and soon she turned on a flashlight, allowing them to see, though there was nothing special to see, just boxes of something "We're going to jump out when we get a chance, so the end destination doesn't really matter" she explained, climbing on the boxes and leaning back so that she was laying down with her legs hanging from the edge of the box, she positioned the flashlight in a way that she didn't need to hold it "I suggest you to take this time to relax, don't know when we get another chance again." soon the train started moving.

"So we have no idea where we're going apart from 'east'," Oliver said. "Good to know."

He sat against the wall and looked down. He wondered where exactly he and Jenna would end up after this, and if it would be a smooth trip.

"It's not really relevant." Jenna stated "All rails going to east ultimately end up in the same place, and our ultimate goal is to get east enough to leave the country, so the name of where we stop is secondary." she tried to sound casual, but she couldn't shake the uncertainty in her voice caused by the bad feeling she had. She let out a frustrated "Gah!" before slapping herself few times "What's wrong with me, why can't I calm my nerves?"

Oliver looked up at her, hearing her vent her frustrations. He couldn't see her, but he could follow her voice.

"Well, you're being chased by this evil organization," he said. "It makes sense that you're a bit anxious."

"Like I mentioned before, it is lot more than being bit anxious." Jenna reminded "Anxious is what I've been this whole time, this, this is dread." "It's hard to explain to you since I don't think humans have this level of instinct, but I think the closest thing would be what you call a 'gut feeling'" "It's just this feeling of approaching evil, like an incoming storm." "I was hoping that getting away from the city would help with it, but it didn't." "I've never in my life felt like this before."

Oliver understood what Jenna meant. He'd had nonstop gut feelings since all of this started. Still, he couldn't bring himself to leave her alone to deal with it.

"You think something else is coming?"

"I sure hope not." Jenna stated "But my instincts sure do seem to think so." "But what could be so bad? what is worse than a Viper?" "Sure my instincts were on high alert then too, but even that wasn't like this." "And I would be able to sense it if there was other dragons nearby."

"Well, do you sense anything nearby?" Oliver asked. "Any threats or any other dragons? Because if not, you might just need to take this time to calm down. It sounds like all of this is starting to get to you."

"Nope, and that's exactly why it bothers me so much" Jenna answered "If I could sense something, it would ease my nerves, since knowing what you are facing is half of the battle." "And if it's just my instincts going overdrive...it's not really any better, since it's actively making things harder."

"If you can't sense any danger, then there probably isn't any danger," Oliver assured her. "Take a deep breath and try not to overthink. You won't do yourself any favours if you're always in such a panic."

"In training they always said the opposite." Jenna said thoughtfully, before continuing with imitation of someone else "There's nothing more suspicious, than nothing suspicious." "If you can't sense the danger, it knows where you are." she returned to her normal voice "And other such lines." "It was true in that context though, since the job was to hunt individuals, if the place looked too normal, too careful, then the one you are after clearly knew you were coming."

"Sounds like they were just trying to make you paranoid," Oliver said. "Worrying and overthinking makes you make mistakes. You need to let yourself take a break sometimes. Calm down and get your thoughts together so you can act the right way."

"Like I said, it made sense in the context, dragons are intelligent creatures, we lay traps and all that stuff, and looking non-suspicious is what someone trying hide or use traps does." "We are also ambush predators, so if it gets quiet, it means we are ready to strike." Jenna explained "Besides, that again just brings it to the start of the conversation, the problem itself, since the whole problem is that this isn't just me worrying about something, but something instinctual I can't control." "The worry and overthinking comes in with trying to identify the problem."

"Or maybe there just isn't a problem," Oliver pointed out. "You've been trained to worry and overthink things. Sometimes you need to take a break and relax before you run yourself ragged trying to find problems where there truly aren't any."

"Like I said, the problem isn't worrying, it's the feeling that I don't control, the instinctual sense I can't identify." Jenna repeated "If I could just turn it off, the conversation would have never started..." she was interrupted as the train suddenly hit the brakes, after she recovered from the sudden braking, she spoke again "...There's no way we reached another location already." she carefully opened the door enough to peek outside, she pulled herself back in and looked at Oliver "Landslide, just happened, dust is still in the air..." she again cut her words abruptly, as she could feel the hairs on the back of her neck stand up, this feeling she knew way too well "We need to run, Now!" "Take these" she pushed her backpack and jacket to Oliver, and then, pushed Oliver out of the wagon, if Oliver didn't have reaction time to grab his own stuff, she would give those too to him before pushing him out. She'd jump out after Oliver, and would further physically move him forward towards the woods if he had any trouble.

Oliver watched her peek out the door. "Landslide, huh? Looks like we'll be here for a while then."

Which was when Jenna pushed her things to him and forced him out of the train. "Now what's the problem?"

Jenna didn't respond, though she didn't need to, as a loud roar behind them answered for her, as she pushed Oliver forward if he slowed down, followed by loud bang and sound of metal bending and ripping apart, if Oliver looked over his shoulder, he'd see a white dragon, about twice bigger than Jenna's real form, standing on now destroyed train wagon, the one they had been in, it had just crashed into it, ripping it to pieces. There was also another dragon, more Jenna's size, ripping into the locomotive itself, targeting the doomed driver(s). 

Jenna would push Oliver one last time shouting "Keep running!" before stopping, and immediately transforming to her real form, just in time as the bigger dragon slammed into her, sending her and it rolling past Oliver in a ball of dragon, with enough force to shatter trees in their way. 

If Oliver went against Jenna's words, and decided to stop and watch, he'd be able to get a better look of the attacking dragons, they both were white, not shiny, beautiful white, but dull, colorless kind of white, and their eyes were gray, and while he would be unlikely to get really good look at the eyes, even at short glance, there was something off about them, they seemed almost...soulless.  It was true for both of them, in fact, besides the size difference, these two dragons were identical.

Though, what was more worrying, was that they didn't seem to react to pain, it was more obvious with the one fighting Jenna, as Jenna kept slashing and biting it, clearly injuring it, yet it didn't even flinch, while Jenna herself, when getting her own share of teeth and claws, let out roars and other cries of pain, it didn't slow her down either sure, but at least she reacted to it. 

It would come apparent even if Oliver did follow Jenna's words, and didn't see any of this, as the smaller dragon would lock its eyes on him after dealing with the driver, and would B-line to him, even through trees when necessary, and while running through physical objects did slow it down a bit for few seconds, it didn't seem to notice any kind of pain, even though surely running through solid trees felt somewhere?

Regardless of his choices, at this point, Oliver would be able to notice other aspect of these dragons if he paid attention, they weren't too bright.
Instead of the agile, skilled fighting that someone like Jenna had, these dragons were clumsy and instinctual, they saw their target, in this case, Oliver or Jenna, and just ran at them in straight line, making it rather easy for someone like Oliver to dodge out of the way, and due to this, it also took longer for them to turn around and try again, than it would take for Oliver, or Jenna in that matter, to get ready to dodge again, Jenna just had taken more aggressive approach. 

Didn't make them any less dangerous though, and Oliver would need to think quick to not get rammed by bloodthirsty dragon.
