"I usually just let the stupid ones fail on their own. If they are stupid, they won't get far anyway."

"Not in the sense as you see having a pet." Ruby replied "But back when I lived in a cave there was many generations of different small animals living there too, and they took care of small annoyances as a payment for being allowed to live in the cave."

Suddenly a voice was heard outside.

"Did someone say so-"

"If you start singing, I will throw you off the ship."

"Ok, sorry."

Hoof steps could be heard as the random pony walked away.

"Seriously, it gets annoying after a while."

"Actually I didn't, we are talking about actually tiny animals, like birds and mice." Ruby corrected "Even if I were to care enough to try and eat them, they are way too quick for me to catch them, and it wouldn't be worth it regardless." She ignored the random pony, and instead focused only to Somnus's comment "I don't get it either, but I'm glad to say that I have managed to avoid it,"

"I'm just glad you're not the singing type." Ruby simply stated "Because that would make our relationship quite a bit worse, since unlike in every other case, I couldn't go to the treasury to get rid of you since you're allowed in."

"I'm not really sure." Ruby admitted "Probably the fact that the information I had was bit outdated, since things like the friendliness towards local dragons were new to me." "Second thing probably was the fact that said dragons were weaklings and cowards."

"Anyone that has proven to be physically stronger than me." Ruby replied "At this point there's only few others of my kind on that list, all of them notably older than myself." "And myself of course."

Ruby just blinked and looked at the random pony, before basically ignoring him and turning towards Somnus "No, you can't exactly lock walls." "And for your earlier question, I can break through your walls using only one leg or my head, so it's not really that impressive."

The strong guy was putting on a fake accent.

"I've had enough of this." Ruby said almost growling "I see you at the castle." she then kicked off her saddlebags and transformed on the spot, pretty much destroying the pony sized cabin. She then just hit the random pony out of her way with her leg, grabbed her saddlebags with her hind leg's claws, walked off Calti on her head, and leaped off the boat, only leaving behind the holes on the wooden deck of the ship caused by her legs breaking the wood due her weight .

Somnus flew in her direction, quickly catching up.

"Aren't your wings broken? Maybe you should transform back to a pony so I can take you back to the castle."

"It's healed enough for me to glide." Ruby simply stated, and it was true, it would still hurt like hay, but her wing had healed enough to be used for short periods at the time, so that's what she would do, waiting to fall bit closer to the ground before opening her wings to slow herself down enough for her to land safely.

"Little pain here and there." Ruby proclaimed, besides, she was already falling towards the ground, she would be insane to transfer into a form where she can't fly "But you can carry my saddlebags if you insist."

Somnus grabbed the saddlebags.

"Everyone has been more annoying than usual today. There's the guy who bit me, the guy who threw water on you and calti, and that pony who broke through the wall."

Somnus looked down for a moment.

"Maybe now would be a good time for you to glide. I doubt scales will be helpful against falling."

Somnus grabbed the cat and placed her in the saddlebag just in case.

"Wouldn't want her to jump off or something."

Ruby just shrugged, she didn't mind that Somnus took Calti to safety, as she could tell the poor thing was terrified. She opened her wings, and besides roar of pain, there didn't seem to be any problems with her flying, and whenever she reached the ground, her landing was smooth and surprisingly quiet.

"Hopefully they don't figure out who did that. Damage like that can be expensive to fix. Then again... who would be the one to tell a fire breathing dragon they have to pay for damages?"
