"Well, usually the guard would have to fight, they would have no choice. Then again, your situation is a lot different, so it is quite possible that negotiations would be on the table. I think what would happen is that we would be taking a portion of the treasure to pay for casualties and damages, while you would get the rest. And assuming your species has a massive amount of treasure, could end up with half or even the majority of it."

"Of course, I highly doubt a war against your homeland would ever happen. Ponies are too content with being at home to go look for it and if Twilight's map were to ever start including your land and she got sent there, something tells me that she could probably avoid starting a war."

"I'm glad it only works in them, I really don't need more sources of annoyance." Ruby just muttered, sounding like she was half-sleep at this point, Calti too had moved on her head and was in deep sleep.

But when eventually Somnus would decide to go back, instead of Ruby, he would find another guard standing in front of the closed treasury door, who after seeing Somnus would ask if he knew where his lizard friend was.

Later during the night, Somnus would go and see Ruby only to see the guard that asked if he knew where Ruby was.

"You mean to tell me she just disappeared?"

Another guard walked by.

"I saw her leave the treasury with that cat of hers, but there was no way I was gonna ask where she was going, clearly she didn't want anyone to follow her."

"Ok, then I should probably look for her."

The batpony asked around the castle, most had no idea where Ruby went, until one guard said something about seeing someone head towards a mountain. That must be where Ruby went. Somnus quickly flew out of the castle and headed to the mounted.

"Ruby? Are you there?"

There was no response, if it was because she didn't hear or because she didn't want to answer was anyone's guess, not that reason helped in finding her, but what could have helped, was the fact that now and then pieces of stone fell from the direction of the top of the mountain that Canterlot was build on.

Somnus heard a sound of something falling and when he looked, he noticed the rocks falling from higher up on the mountain. He started to fly up the mountain as fast as he possibly could. After some flying, Somnus made it to the top.

"Ruby, answer me. Are you up here?"

"Just use your eyes." Ruby's rather...unhappy sounding voice replied, she was in her dragon form sitting on the highest point of the mountain, staring into the distance, her bright red form was pretty easy to see.

Somnus looked over and saw Ruby sitting there. The unhappiness in Ruby's voice made Somnus concerned.
