Marketing- What's in store for the next generation?

Whether or not the next reboot is "g5" or not (since g1 had a reboot - Pony Tales- that was still counted as g1), I want to know what you guys think. g4 had its share of successes, with quite a few fashion brands and makeup brands getting in line to market MLP; from POPcolor to Tutu Du Monde; fanshops such as WeLoveFine, and various Etsy and Deviantart smaller commission shops.

 

can we expect official MLP "lands" in theme parks, or Popup cafes, with the next generation? What do you guys think we could expect on the side of merchandising beyond toys and collectables, with the new gen?

Knowing Hasbro, it's going to be nothing but toys, toys, and more toys along with the usual products such as clothing, backpacks, and the like.

Well I hope G5 toys will be just as good as G1,G2, and G3. I want good quality back.

I dont think they will do anything since i dont think that they think that the brand has enough value to justify something like that. To me it seems like that they focus only on the toys and let other people take the risks by licencing if they feel like it

ok, well what do you expect other brands to bring to the table in g5? it's still the same question as in the op.

didn't necessarily say that we had to get i from Hasbro. Other brands, as seen in the op, are included and unbrella'd under what we can expect under g5.

Hopefully those other brands will continue to deliver. Of course, they will need a license from Hasbro first which should be easy enough to get.

I wish Hasbro would go big, with theme parks and all. But I kinda wanted that for G4. I don't like G5 so far
