I notticed this when I re watched it a while ago since this was before they met It threw me of guard. Time travel?

Foreshadowing of their friendship later. I always thought this was a nice touch.

I'm not sure anyone really picks that tidbit up on the first viewing.

On an aside, that picture seemed weird to me at first and I didn't know why, but I realized: it's the dark lines under the eyes of Bloom and Belle. Later, they use the same colour as the pony's outline when they show the eyes scrunched up like that.
