general media Media classified "all ages" in your country but never released there?

Usually, only media that contains content more offensive than Adults Only in your area ends up banned. However, on other occasions, media that is approved for all ages can also end up unreleased as well at the end. Has this ever happened to your favorite entertainment?

Take Song of the South, for example. Despite still being rated G by the MPAA since the 1970s, it wasn't ever released on video in North America.

"Song of the South" will most likely NEVER be released to home video in north America. While rated G, it is set in the years just after the American Civil War. It depicts happy former slaves working just as hard as ever for their kindly former owners. Many, and rightfully so, find that to be distasteful. If Diseny released it domestically, it would start a firestorm that could possibly force them out of business.

There is something I would love to see again, but it's never been released on DVD. The Muppet Musicians of Bremen. It was released on VHS and LaserDisc, but after the 80's the rights for the actual music and performances expired and Disney doesn't care enough to chase those down now. There are 'unauthorized' DVD presses off of the VHS copy, but those tend to be crappy in general.

So it's not that it's 'banned', it's just not something Disney can release now without more effort than they believe it would be worth... which pretty much covers a lot of stuff that is supposedly banned in North America.
