Could the ToH have a friend?

ok, so we know that the three has always had some degree of sentience long before the season 8 finale, to sense disturbances in the force and send its guardians of harmony out to solve friendship matters. During the time of when the mane 6 had to return the ToH's elements to it to prevent the tree from weakening, and to fight Discord's plunderseeds, it's likely that the tree was able to experience the day to day lives and how its elements had been put into practice by the mane 6, once they reconnected them with it. Now that it can take on a form to interact with others, such as the student 6, for the purpose of testing their friendships, I'm left to wonder......does the Tree desire for friends of its own? The Mane 6 are simply its elements bearers and guardians of the land to protect the harmony that their society had been built upon, as Celestia and Luna had been- not its friends. Will we see someone other than the bearers or student 6 befriend the Twig? Zecora would be the closest in proximity, but it remains a slim chance if she knows about its existence, or even has anything noteworthy to contribute to the friendship, if she does. With other students in Twilight's school having been taught about the tree's existence, I wonder if anyone will wonder if the Twig might be in need of a friend, and host tea parties in the Everfree, while telling it about their day and interactions and such.

They actually don't hang out that much anymore. I think i remember Twilight mentioning that there all so busy that they hardly get time to hang out anymore.

Please Don't shut @AlexanderThrond's post about "the Mane 6 potentially hanging out with the Tree of Harmony" out like that. Just because we see the Mane 6 only hang out with each other onscreen, that doesn't mean they don't hang out with other ponies offscreen. Heck, with Rainbow Dash officially a Wonderbolt, she had plenty of hang-out moments with her co-workers. We just don't see it as often as you think we should. And that's okay. We as fans can easily draw our interpretation of what they do between episodes.

Look at it this way, in S8's The Mean Six, Twilight arranged for the Mane 6 and Starlight to camp near the Tree of Harmony. So wheter the girls knew it or not, they were already hanging out with the Tree, in the POV of the Tree. I'm pretty sure in the Tree of Harmony's mind, it appreciates the gesture Twilight and Friends made to spend a night near its cave.  Even if you think the Tree has no friends, I like to think the Tree doesn't make a big deal out of it and is quite content with its existence and peaceful state of Equestria.

Much like in real life, life can get too busy to hang out with your friends due to responsibilities and such. But that's okay, true friends would understand that life can get busy for the other person and would gladly wait or even better, try turning their responsibilities into opportunities to hang out with the friends while getting the responsibilities done.

Honestly though, I doubt we'll see the mane six hanging out with the tree more than once, but I can still dream.

I think the Tree Of Harmony is a god like being. Funny, we never saw it try to communicate until near the end of Season 8.

In my headcannon ToH used to be an Equine Entity more powerful than Alicorns as well as Discord, and she was the original Guardian of Equestria.

Then something happened, for which she realized that she might not be always around as she's to protect her beloved land, she tried to find a way to keep her land safe, and finally solution came to her. 

There was a way for her to be around forever as long as Equestria does exist, but not as a pony, instead she became one with the land turning herself in a tree like being and greatest traits of her personality became gemstones on her branches known as Elements of Harmony.

Whoops, off the topic. The point is that, yes, it's possible that she wish for friends as well.
