Dynamo nods in agreement with a smile. "You're welcome and it's no problem, Scar. I'll always be there and looking out for you." He says, nodding at the plan as they made their trip to the convenient store. "That sounds good to me. Besides, the hotel doesn't carry the good snacks and beverages. True, they have good pizza and all, but it's not the same." He chuckles as she took his hand into her paw. At the mention of her dad, he smiles and nods. "Thanks for letting me know. I think my dad would have loved to get to know him. My dad knew when to be serious, but he was always a goofball at heart. He always made others smile and laugh when they were down. It was his way of showing others to not let the bad times get you down. It sounds like our dad's could have been great buddies."

Scarlet smiles and giggles a little "I think I can see where you got your goofiness from, so you must have gotten your caring side from your mother" she says "Or more like both of them, but mostly from your mother" she says, still snuggling into the jacket and smiling at him. "So, any idea of what you'd like? junk food wise I mean. I'd love some strawberry chocolate as well as some white chocolate. I'd also love some licorice, mm some soda, chips and..hmm guess we'll see when we get there" she giggles and wags her tail.

Dynamo chuckles and smiled sheepishly at the female wolf's guess. "You've got that right, sweetheart. Although, I've also got my mom's backbone too. If anyone gets on my bad side, or they hurt my friends and family. Well, then they know they both messed up and crossed the line." He says, nodding once more as her guess was correct. "I do take more after my mother. She and I are mostly alike. We do argue from time to time, but arguing is natural. We do tend to act the same, so arguments tend to become confusing." He chuckled slightly as they saw a convenient store in their sights. At the idea of what they'd have for snacks, Dynamo hummed at the idea. "Hmm...maybe perhaps potato chips, some cookies, chocolate, Swedish fish, and you can't go wrong with licorice." He smiles, waving their linked hands back and forth lightly as they walked. "Soda does sound good, but maybe some different variety of soda. That way, we can have diversity as the beverages won't become stale."

Scarlet nods and smiles "Oooh Swedish Fish, definitely" she says and nods "Maybe some Goldfish crackers as well" she says as they arrive in the convenient store and begun to put the treats in the basket "Yeah, I can see that, like how you stood up to Cheap Shot that time he bullied me at the arcade" she says and then closes her eyes "And you are right, a variety of sodas is a good idea"

Dynamo chuckled at her enthusiasm and nods. "Swedish Fish and Hershey Chocolate are my weakness when it comes to candy. I try not to eat so much candy, so I won't get sick. Sometimes, I can't help it as chocolate and candy are so good. The same can be said for cake." He says, nodding at the suggestion of Goldfish crackers. "Those definitely sound good. I guess it's the same in having a wide variety of snacks like beverages." He says as they arrived and stepped into the convenient store. "If we had a freezer, then I would say ice cream sandwiches. Although, we should pass on that. Seeing how the ice cream would melt on the way home to Ponyville." He chuckles, before nodding at her remark. "I would always stand up for you, Scar. I stood up for you because you're my friend. Nobody deserves to be treated badly by bullies like Cheap Shot. Now that we are boyfriend and girlfriend, I can tell you that I will always stand up for you, no matter what." He says, nodding at her approval of the idea for a variety of sodas. "How do you think we should pay for all of this? Would you want to go half on all of the treats and soda, or would you like me to treat. I honestly don't mind, either way, sweetheart. I'm just looking forward to spending time with you, while playing video games and having some good laughs." He says, placing some of the treats they mentioned into the basket.

Scarlet nods "Yeah, we can always get ice cream when we get to Ponyville" she says with a smile "I will stand up for you too dear, I hope you know that" she says and then thinks "How about you pay for the treats, and I pay for anything we order from room service?" she asks as they put in the last of their things into the basket and make their way to the check out.

Dynamo smiles and nods at the idea. "I guess there will be another video game marathon when we get back to Ponyville. Although, we could always turn that into an anime marathon. Either way, I look forward to that." He says, smiling softly at her remark. "I will always know that. Just like you did when you got Cheap Shot to be disqualified. I really appreciated that and I will never forget that." As they made their way to check out, Dynamo thought about the suggestion and nods. "Okay and I'm okay with that. I believe we did that the day before. We basically reversed the order, so it works out." He says with a chuckle.

Scarlet smiles and nods as they then begun the walk back to the hotel. "Either way, I look forward to it" she says as they get back to the hotel, and to their room. She puts their snacks and drinks on the table "So, shall we watch anime while doing the nuzlocke challenge? Or do you have anything else in mind?"

Dynamo nods with a smile as they made their way back to the hotel. "I'm looking forward to this anime/gaming marathon, as well. This is going to be an epic marathon, in my opinion." He says as they soon arrived at the hotel and walked up to their room. As they entered the hotel room, he looked to Scarlet, while helping to put the snack and drinks on the table. "Hmm...I think that's a good idea. I guess it depends on the anime. That is, unless we've both seen said anime before. I can imagine we'd be asking so many questions of what happened to the anime. That's also if we took a break from the gaming marathon to continue watching the anime." He says, placing a hand over his forehead as he was confused from saying that. He chuckled as he shook his head. "I'm sorry if there was any confusion in what I said. I'm all for watching anime, while we continue the nuzlocke challenge." He says, heading into the bathroom, before he soon returned wearing his pajamas.

"Anime marathon and Nuzlocke challenge it is then" she says with a smile, getting out her Nintendo 3DS XL "Oh, did you hear the news? The new Pokemon Games are going to be only on the Switch?" she asks and shakes her head "I mean sure, it'll be great to actually legitimately play a Pokemon Game of that particular series on a bigger screen" she says, getting our her dvd and bluray collection, "now, which one should we watch? Hey Dynamo, have you seen Sai Yuki?"

Dynamo grinned as he went over to the table to grab his Nintendo 3DS. He had made sure to charge the handheld console earlier. In order to make sure he would be prepared for an all night gaming marathon. "Awesome! It also works out, in a way. If we are tired from playing games, then we watch anime. If we want to take a break from anime, then we play video games. It's a win/win situation. That, and I get to be spending time with someone very special." He says, kissing her cheek as he sat down on the bed. At the mention of a new Pokemon game, his eyes were the size of dinner plates. "Are you serious!? Nintendo actually announced a new Pokemon game!? Okay. We have got to see the trailer later. I'm hyped for a new game and all, but we have a marathon calling our names." He chuckled, before nodding in agreement to her statement.

"That's true. If you don't count the Colosseum and Stadium series, then this will be the first time we have a Pokemon game on home console. I guess it does still count as a handheld game. Seeing how you can take the Switch out of the charging dock and take the game with you. It's like a gigantic 3DS, but with amazing graphics." He says, tilting his head in confusion at the anime she mentioned. "In all honesty? No, I have never heard of Saiyuki. It sounds pretty interesting, in my opinion." He says as the female wolf was looking through her DVD and Bluray collection.

"It's classified as a..well, it's not your traditional Japanese anime, instead this one is set in India" she says with a smile "It has Indian lore instead of Japanese..I think, it's been a while" she says as she puts the dvd into the dvd player and waits for Dynamo to be ready "Well yeah, but in the main Pokemon series, so like yellow to Shield for example" she says "Always been handheld, never really on a console unless you count connecting to your Gamaeboy to your Nintendo 64" she says with a sheepish grin "Yeah I did that sometimes, just so I could play more easily at night time"

Dynamo raised an eyebrow in curiosity upon learning the type of anime it was. "That's a change in pace, if you ask me. That also sounds pretty interesting. It's great to see other places around the world can work together in the makings of anime." He says, turning on his 3DS and sitting on the bed. His back resting against the backboard of the bed. "I remember something like that for the Gameboy to the Nintendo 64. I think it was for when you played the Pokemon Stadium series. There was a way to connect the game into the controller and then use your team from the handheld games. Those were definitely good times." He says, smiling sheepishly as he nodded in agreement. "I know what you mean. It wasn't the same, but it was for the Gameboy Advance and the Nintendo Gamecube. I had the Advance Adapter, so I could play my handheld games on the big screen. I always would play Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh games." He says, scooting over, so she could sit next to him.  "It's a shame they couldn't do the same strategy for the Wii and DS games. I guess the whole playing Gamecube games on the Wii was like a backup plan of sorts." He says, starting up his saved file of Pokemon Moon.

Scarlet smiles and nods as she then got some of the snacks and drinks out, before pressing play on the dvd remote and begun to relax while opening up her 3DS XL and started up her game "So we agreed on the alternative route correct? We need to make sure that at least one of our Ponymon knows the move Cut, and one knows Flash" she says "Maybe rockbreak is a good move to check we have as well" she then smiles "I also had the advance cable, as for the Wii and DS games, well, I guess that's what the digital store was about. They had somewhat ported the games into roms for the Wii and the WiiU"

As Scarlet had grabbed some snacks and drinks, Dynamo levitated some cookies and a soda over to him. As the anime started to play, he smiled as she sat next to him on the bed. "You've got that right. I hate having to place HM moves on some Ponymon, but thankfully they can be relearned. It was interesting to see how the game took out certain mechanics like flying from city to city. Seeing how you can use the Charizard option." He says, nodding on the moves they needed. "So, we need Cut, Flash, Rock Smash and False Swipe. Just in case, so we don't knock out a random encounter." He says, turning to her with a smile. "You had the cable to connect the DS to the Wii? That's pretty cool, but I never knew there was a connector cable. The only thing close was the whole Ponymon Battle Revolution. How you could play the game with rental Ponymon and the team you play on the DS games." He says as the couple continued to play the nuzlocke challenge.

Scarlet giggles and shakes her head "Oh no, there was no cable to connect the DS to the Wii, but there were certain games you could buy on the digital store on either console to play that console. For example, the Wii had a lot of the multi-platform games, but also had some of the old Gamecube and Nintendo system games" she says "Though one thing that surprised me, is how RARE decided to make their remake games for the Xbox Alone, when those games were originally on the Nintendo, like Conker's Bad Fur Day and Banjo Kazooie" she says as her tail tip playfully tickles the bottom of Dynamo's bare foot. "Oh and yes, false swipe is a good move to have as well"

Dynamo chuckles along with Scarlet, before nodding at her statement. "Oh, okay and that makes sense. It would be pretty cool to connect the DS to the Wii console. It's almost like you have your own hand held controller and the Wii has the game playing." He says, remembering some digital games, before continuing. "I remember some games like the original Super Mario and Final Fantasy appeared on the shop channel. Even Mega Man made an appearance on the Nintendo systems at one point." He says, nodding as his eyes widened at the mentioned games made by RARE. "I remember those games! I never played Conker's Bad Fur Day, but I did play a bit of Banjo Kazooie. It was sort of odd that those games appeared on the Xbox. Although, if I were to guess, then I guess Nintendo lost the rights to the games. Seeing how the game graphics were updated and released on a different console."

As the female wolf agreed on the Ponymon move, the gaming unicorn held back a chuckle as her tail tickled the bottom of his foot. "I sometimes forgot about having false swipe and had to be careful, yet lucky on catching some Ponymon. It's always upsetting to lose a potential capture when the encounter is very rare. I know that feeling as I ran into a Beldum once. It wasn't easy and I believe Beldum has a three percent catch rate." He shuddered as he had to search every nook and cranny for a second Beldum.

She nods "It would be pretty cool to do so, but I guess that they thought the Wii U was enough of a hand held experience for people" she says, nodding as she listens to his story about the Beldum and chuckles a little "I've had that happen with some rare encounters as well, it's quite..annoying" she says, smiling at him and then kisses his cheek "as for the RARE games, yeah, I could see that being the case. It's just a shame how much of a flop Sea of Thieves was"

Dynamo nods with a frown. "That's true, but I remember hearing that the Wii U had sold terribly. I think it was considered one of the worst consoles Nintendo made. I'm glad to see that the Switch had sold successfully. It's like the Wii U, but made in the correct way. I guess Nintendo wanted to try something, before improving upon the idea." He says, smiling as she chuckled about the story. He raised an eyebrow as she went through a similar experience. "I don't blame you when you said it was annoying. If you have a Master Ball, then it's easy, but it's a shame you only get one. So, it's all about luck and having enough Ultra or Dusk Pokeballl's in order to catch the Ponymon." He says, moving his foot slightly as his toe brushed against her foot paw pads. Dynamo smiles with a nod as he returned the kiss. "I heard of that game. I remember seeing some YouTube channels played it and made the game look funny and fun. There was even a video that had someone take the role of a pirate seriously. I've got to say that that player was a great actor." He says, laughing joyously at the memory of the video.

Scarlet smiles and nods a little "Yeah, but it was a real flop at the beginning, much like No Man's Sky, except at least RARE tried to fix things by adding in more content later on, but a little too late for my tastes" she says, smiling over at him. She then looks at where they were in the game and smiles "alright, I think I can see a tree that can be cut over there" she says as  she shows him where they are on her DS. "So by the looks of it, it takes us on an alternate route where there's plenty of grass to explore, what do you think?" she asks, pressing play on the dvd remote and munching on a bag of chips she had opened up.

Dynamo smiles at her and nods at her statement. "I remember hearing about No Man's Sky, but I didn't look into the game that much. The same can be said for Sea of Thieves. It's nice that a game can add more content, but it's a shame it was too late to save said games." He says, looking over her shoulder to see where she was on the 3DS. "Okay. So, as we cut the tree down, we'll head over to the patch of grass. I'm actually pretty nervous about the encounter, but it's exciting too." He says, nodding at the plan of where they could go. "I like that idea." He says, taking a bite of some cookies, before continuing. "After we cut down the tree, we'll go on the alternate route and head towards the grass. I think I had the last encounter, so you go first this time." He says as she pressed play on the DVD remote. As the anime was playing in the background, Dynamo had occasionally looked at the screen. However, he was making sure he wouldn't get lost as he reached the location in the game. "Okay. This is it, sweetheart. Ready to see who you found?" He asks as they reached the alternate patch of grass within minutes.

"I know, and is this a nuzlocke challenge, I'm not willing to cheat to get any more Master Balls" Scarlet says with a soft smile, as she listens to him "It was rush job, they had hyped up the game so much, that they didn't want to delay the launch to get things right and fill it up with more content." she says "It's the way with most AAA companies these days, they rush out a game they hype up and then people find it is nothing like the demos at E3 and such" she shakes her head as she then sees the encounter and gasps "I-it's a..a Mega Latias! B-but how!"

Dynamo chuckled at Scarlet's statement, before nodding in agreement. "I know what you mean. I used to have an action replay for my DS. I would always have the maximum amount of rare candies and the ultimate pokeball's. I even watched videos of how to find and catch every single Ponymon in the current game of Diamond, Pearl and the previous games. I never used those codes again when playing through the future series. I guess I wanted to battle and have some fun building teams. I was never an expert in Ponymon battling." He says, grinning sheepishly as he nods at her train of thought. "That's true. However, you hype up a game and keep said game in development, then it might not be what everyone would expect. You could say that happened to Kingdom hearts 3. Don't get me wrong. The game was amazing and all. It just felt like the difficulty wasn't really that bad. I played on the highest difficulty and I didn't lose once. Granted, I had a kupo coin that saved me if I got a game over, but I never needed it in the later part of the game." He shook his head, while shrugging his shoulders as he couldn't understand.

"I've actually never been to E3, but it sounds like a lot of fun. Being able to see all these new game trailers and try the demos. It's like a gamer's dream come true." He says, his eyes widening as he saw her encounter. "That's crazy! I've seen a soul link series where mega Pokemon can both be on the opponent's team and in the wild. That's super rare, Scar! Now, let's see what I can do." He says, heading into the patch of grass and stumbled upon his encounter. As he heard the cry of the Ponymon, his jaw dropped in shcok. "M-M-Mega...MEGA LATIOS! Sweet Celestia! There is just...no...way!" He says, hopping on the bed with glee at the random encounter. A massive smile was ever present upon his face.

Scarlet smiles as she gets out her best Ponymon "I want to see if I can catch i.." she was about to finish her sentence when she heard what Dynamo had encountered "Gee, better not lose it" she says, her tail wagging slightly but also gently tickling the sole of his foot. "I know we don't have any master balls, but perhaps...we can chance it. I mean this is our only chance for such a rare Ponymon" she says, starting the battle.

Dynamo smiles as he got out a good Pokemon to counter his encounter. "I can say the same to you, babe. You can't find a rare Ponymon like that very often. I'm surprised they have mega Ponymon as an encounter." He says, nodding in agreement to her statement. "That's true, but ultra balls are the next best option. At least we stocked up on supplies, so we'll be set. It's better to take a chance at this, instead of never at all." He says as he began the battle to capture his encounter. Throughout the battle, he was doing a decent job in weakening the Mega Latios. There had been some critical hits on both sides, so the blue unicorn had started to become nervous. As he went into the trainer bag to throw the ultra ball, he sat their for minutes upon minutes of the capture being unsuccessful. He took a deep breath as he wouldn't give up, but he soon began to chuckle as her tail began to tickle his foot. "D-Don't try and tickle me, Scar. I'm really t-ticklish and I don't want to lose the encounter." He says, but he couldn't, but smile and chuckle as he was playing.
