general Have you ever been in a fight?

Yes, a few times actually.  I never instigated them, but grew up in some bad areas so it was natural there. Thankfully I took some boxing classes and they paid off. I don't condone violence and always recommend talking things out, but there are times where you will have to defend yourself against someone who doesn't wish to listen.

Small ones in grade school but one attacked me and I hit him with my umbrella and I got in trouble

then a kid kept throwing my coat into the boys bathroom and finaly I went in and I punched the kid. He never messed with me again.

that’s it.  There were a lot of times I’ve wanted to punch people. I didn’t though. I was to afraid I’d get in trouble or something.

Physical? No. Arguments? Tons. I don’t let stuff slide anymore like I did when I was a teenager. I’m confrontational and I call people out.

Literally once in my life, a little scuffle at the back of the science room in high school while the teacher was away, nothing really became of it but the two of us gained a bit of respect for one another and were cool with each other from then on :Pip-giggle:

Iv'e been in... two fights. They where bullying me since I had memory. That day I had enough. Oh boy... It' felt great indeed. I send them to the hospital. The sensation, the adrenaline, the "justice" I did since long years suffering their constant abuse... It's like some kind of o****m.

Violence is the last resort. But I'm tired of the "put the other cheek" thing. Sadly that's how the world works at the end.

To me, violence should be a last resort when discussions fail. I believe in handling conflicts with compassion and kindness whenever possible. Growing up, there were a few instances where I had to defend myself, but mostly I stood up for others who were being physically and verbally bullied.

I have been the biggest kid in jr and mid school. I was afraid to harm other kids unintentionally and feared nobody.

But in hi school was some new bullies, full of testosterone and skilled in street fights so as big nerd who don't know how to socialize I was bullied and got my ass kicked a lot. One day in 10th grade I had my nose broken in another fight. Blood was everywhere. I decided that next time I will not hold myself and it shall be not my blood... And some God damned miracle happened, I have never been in fight since then.

Maybe my broken nose gave me dangerous appearance or something in my actions and face expression changed but nobody ever tried to threat me physically. Arguments happened sometimes tho.

That's how I discovered a magic of mindset and use it often to program myself.

I still keep my body strong and trained and clothes comfy to be prepared to kick some asses not because I'm going to do it ever but because I know, the day I'll stop being ready, something bad may happen.
