Should Disney make a crossover?

Honestly, I'm surprised than no one has thought to do a crossover movie with Winnie the Pooh and Christopher Robin meeting Calvin and Hobbes. Two boys with their imaginary friends/ stuffed animals would be so sweet (and another tiger pal for Tigger!). Why do you guys think this hasn't been done?

Why is that?

Because the last thing he wants is his work of art to be merchandised for a quick cash grab. He also lives a very quiet life away from prying eyes.

Bill Watterson was notoriously resistant to any licensing of his work for merchandising or other adaptations, hence the almost total lack of any official Calvin and Hobbes products beyond the various book collections of the comic strips themselves.
