That's my choice too. "The Inner Light" is beautifully written. This episode transcends any Trek episode before or after.

It always brings tears to my eyes.

A whole lifetime of memories. What an incredible gift. A whole race of beings, all they wanted was someone to remember them.

I'd like to mention that although I was a star trek fan and had seen TNG before adventure time, my favorite episode of AT is "Puhoy" which I read into and found out it was inspired by "The Inner Light", which was an episode I had not seen so I went to see it as a result. Being that it was the original source of the idea I put it instead, but both episodes and the idea are very moving.

Also, the title comes from the George Harrison song of the same name, which itself is great as well.

We have two ears and one mouth, so we should listen more than we say.

You want to know something sad? Only three actors are left from that dinner scene. Everyone else has passed beyond the rim. The actor who played Vir did a phenomenal job at that scene how he spoke about his friend that he misses dearly.

Spoiler

Which scene brought tears to your eyes the most, the dinner scene or the goodbye?
