"Sixty bits!?" She exclaimed as she did a spit take of her beverage. "Huh. Here I thought this food would be cheap, but I guess it's very well prepared. Plus, it tastes great and it was delivered pretty quickly." She shrugged, taking another bite of her food. "I'll make sure to give you thirty bits to pay for half of the dinner. It's only fair, in my opinion." She says after regaining her composure. As the movie was beginning to play, Gentle smirked playfully at Devin's remark. "How long have you waited for what? Watching a movie with an old friend? Eating great take out food? Finally making me see the light and that we are now a couple, or all of the above?"

Devin nods "Neighponese is expensive, but when done right and delivered in time, is well worth the price" she would say and then smile some more "Waited for all of the above" she says "Especially the special somepony part"

Gentle nodded as she couldn't find anything wrong with that type of logic. "That does make sense when you think about it. Especially when you factor in adding a tip to the delivery and everything. It's the same for when Dynamo and I order pizza every once a week." She smiled at Devin's response, before blushing at her last comment. "R-Really? I'm sorry I had to make you wait so long. I guess I never really noticed, until today. I guess it's better late than never, huh? We can make up for lost time starting now." She says, feeling bold in her next actions. She wrapped her arms around Devin and pulled the female rabbit into a hug. She then closed her eyes and pulled her best friend turned girlfriend into a kiss.

Devin smiles and gives her a hug and kiss in return "Hey now, no need to be sorry love, you and Dynamo were in the long process of grieving the passing away of Quick, i was more than happy to wait" she says "I wouldn't want you to rush into a relationship with me while still grieving, It wouldn't be fair on you, Dynamo and Quick" she nuzzles her "I'm just glad we can be more than best friends now"

As she pulled back from the kiss, Gentle had a neutral expression. However, she nodded wholeheartedly in understanding. "Thank you for understating. It also helps that you were there for the both of us, while we were there for you. It shows that we were close before and we're even closer now." She nods and returns the nuzzle. "I know I said this before, but I guess I didn't rush into a relationship because I was just afraid. Since I only loved Quick, I just felt that nobody could ever replace him. I know you helped to reassure me, but I guess I can't be blamed for that train of thought. I'm just glad I was able to move on, yet never forget him. It's great to be more than friends with you, hon." She smiles, continuing to eat her dinner as she continued to watch the classic movie with the female rabbit.

Devin smiles and nods, watching the movie and eating her dinner "No need to apologize, like I said, you were both grieving, and that fear is part of it, you've just finally reached the final part, which is acceptance" she nuzzles her lovingly

Gentle nodded with a smile. "Okay and it's just like I said. I know I said what I was talking about before when we went to see the movie in theaters. So, I guess I now understand what you're trying to tell me. Thanks for not giving up on my son and I, Dev." She giggles as she returned the nuzzle. "I guess that's how acceptance is meant to happen in the five stages of loss. Although, I guess it's sort of like the five stages of romantic feelings when it involves you, hon." She laughed as she leaned back in her seat, while relaxing and enjoying the film. "Who was your favorite character in the movie, Dev? I was always a fan of Toulouse and Roquefort."

Devin smiles "Some people never truly reach the last step, due to not having people around them to help" she would say "And you are welcome, I've been more than happy to be there for both you and Dynamo" she would say, kissing her muzzle once more before relaxing a little.

"It's the same when it revolved around that troubling time with all of the children. Some were able to move on and reach that last step, while others were or still aren't able to. You're right about having others around them to help. If everyone comes together to work alongside to help, then we'll all be able to get through the troubling times eventually." Gentle responded with a smile. "You're the sweetest, you know that? I couldn't ask for anyone better to be my best friend. The same thing goes to being my special someone, of course." She giggled as she felt Devin kiss her muzzle once more, before Gentle kissed Devin's forehead. "Was that kiss a way to get out of answering my question, hon? You still haven't told me your favorite character from the Aristocats. Unless you want me to guess for you." She says, smirking playfully at the female rabbit.

She giggles "Maybe a bit of both" she would say then smile at the question "Duchess, she is so gentle, kind, loving, caring and motherly" she would say "not to mention beautiful and looks very soft" she would say and cuddle close, but then her phone would ring and she answers it "Devin speaking"

"Hi mommy, sorry we hadn't called you earlier, but the clean out took longer than expected and we just kind of collapsed when we got to my aunts" Scarlet would say "Aunt Snowshoe had actually just reminded me to call you, love you and Dynamo says goodnight to both you and his mother, and that he loves her."

Devin smiles "I'll pass the message on, thank you for calling though, you two get some rest okay, love you and Gentle says she loves Dynamo" she smiles and hangs up before kissing Gentle "That was Scarlet and Dynamo"

Gentle giggled with a nod. "I thought as much." At the mention of Duchess, the periwinkle snapped her fingers and pouted slightly. "I wanted to say Duchess, but that seemed a bit too obvious. Here I thought you were going to call me Duchess, but then I would have said the exact same thing. Seeing how her qualities are pretty much what you and I embody." She smiled and giggled once more. "I'd say that the whole cuddly and beautiful you mentioned fit you, very well, if you ask me." She returned the cuddle as she nuzzled Devin. As she continued to eat their dinner, Gentle blinked slightly as she heard Devin's phone began to ring. She wondered who was calling, but smiled as she heard Dynamo's name being brought up.

The periwinkle unicorn had stayed quiet, so that she wouldn't interrupt the conversation, or Devin's train of thought. After the female rabbit had hung up the phone, Gentle could only nod and hold back a laugh from her response. "I had a feeling since I heard my son's name being mentioned. How are the two doing? I hope everything is okay."

Devin smiles "and you're the kind, caring and loving part of Duchess" she would say "and no it isn't too obvious, because it is true, I think she is often over looked" she would say, continuing to cuddle up to Gentle, eat their food and watch one of their favorite movies.

Scarlet smiles as she flops onto her bed "Dynamo honey? Mom says that your mom loves you and goodnight and to sleep well"

Gentle rolled her eyes playfully, before giggling at her best friend's remark. "I guess we're both Duchess, then. At least I can easily say that you have the most beautiful eyes." She smiled softly, clearly taking a quote from the movie, but still meaning it all the same. "I can see how Duchess can be easily overlooked. Compared to Edgar, the kittens, the other cats, the two dogs, the horse and everyone else. It feels like they pushed her to the wayside, until her character is needed in the movie. Although, I can't deny that she's such an adorable cat. It's either her or the daughter cat that Milkshake looks just like one of them." She sighed happily as she continued to watch the movie, while eating their food and cuddling with Devin.

-meanwhile-

Dynamo's ears perked as he turned to Scarlet, who had called out to him. "Hey, sweetheart. Is everything okay?" He asks, before being told about his mom and Devin had called. "Thank you for telling me, Scar honey. I'll also have to thank Miss Devin that they checked up on us and that they wished us goodnight." He smiled and chuckled as the female rabbit flops onto the bed, while he flew slightly into the air.

Devin smiles and nuzzles Gentle "You are right, it was almost as if she was there to be a pretty face and that is all" she says with a shake of her head "But like you, she's more than just a pretty face" she would say, cuddling up to Gentle even more, "so much more" she would say with a happy sigh, watching the rest of the film "Say, do you think Scarlet and/or Dynamo have picked up on our feelings for each other yet?" she asks with a giggle.

-with Dynamo-

Scarlet giggles as he was launched off of the springy bed and then hugs him "Yeah, you know our moms are always checking up on us" she would say "especially after the camp incident" she then nuzzles him and wiggles her little tail "Say Dynamo, have you ever thought that our moms seem to spend a lot of time together? Not saying there's anything wrong about it, but ya know..ever thought they may be more than best friends?"

Gentle returned the nuzzle, but frowned and shrugged her shoulders. "It's a shame, to be honest. Duchess is such a nice cat. I feel that her portrayal in the movie is a bit underrated. I do like the romance that is created between her and Thomas O' Malley." She says, before smiling softly. She wrapped an arm around Devin's shoulder and held her close. "You just know how to say the nicest things, you know that?" She leaned forward and kissed Devin's cheek, before she continued to watch and enjoy the film. At Devin's question, Gentle could only giggle along with her best friend turned girlfriend. "Well, our kids are pretty smart and clever, after all. If anything, then I think they might have figured it out by now."

-With Scarlet-

Dynamo nodded in agreement as he returned the hug, while holding her close. "One could argue that they just worry, but I guess that's how mom's are. It shows that they care about us deeply." He nodded slightly as Scarlet had mentioned the camp incident, but didn't say anything as he didn't want to bring up any bad memories. "I have seen them spending a lot of time together. Even after you moved away, it's been like that between your mom and my mom." He says, wondering where Scarlet was going with the topic. "Hmm...I'm not entirely sure. I mean, they are best friends. I remember a couple of times they called each other besties. So, I guess it's a best friend sort of thing?" He says, unsure of how to interpret how his mom and Scarlet's mom train of thought.

Devin smiles and nuzzles Gentle "You are right, I liked how they gave Thomas some character development. At first, he was just a regular tom cat looking for a pretty female cat to be with, but he then soon actually began to love the kids as his own" she would say "I do wonder how our kids will react when we tell them that we are together now" she would say, covering a yawn, cuddling up to Gentle even more.

"Personally, I think it would be nice" Scarlet says, "I know my mother's been lonely since...well ever since I've known her, and your mom well..she deserves the best, and I can't think of anyone better than my mom, well..there's your dad but ya know"

"I thought that was pretty interesting. Thomas seemed rude or just a tough guy, who thought he could find a pretty female cat. It all changed as he tried to help Duchess and her kittens, while also spending time with them. I liked how the kittens took to Thomas so easily and it was like they were a family. Even though they did eventually become a family, I still liked the build up towards the story. Also, the comedy wasn't too bad for the time this movie first came out." Gentle returned the nuzzle, while resting her head against Devin's head. "I hope the kids will be happy that we are together. I have high hopes and we'll all be a happy family like Duchess, Thomas and their kids." Her ears perked as she picked up the yawn from Devin, before giggling. "Don't tell me you're feeling tired already, hon. Did you want to try and keep watching the movie?" She asks, using her magic to place a blanket over the two of them.

-In Manehattan-

"I always thought they would be best friends that help each other out if they needed help." Dynamo replied, but looked over to Scarlet with a raised eyebrow. "I can understand that your mom has been lonely. I remember it was just you and her from my first memory of knowing you. For so long, I don't think she ever told me what happened to your dad." He fell silent for a moment at the mention of his dad. Even though it had been a while since his passing, the blue unicorn couldn't help in missing him. "Yeah...you're right. My mom does deserve the best. No matter what, I've always seen Mrs. Devin as a sort of second mom. So, I think it would be interesting, you know?" He says, wrapping his arms around the female rabbit into the hug, before placing a blanket over them so they wouldn't feel cold.

Devin smiles "Pfft, I just love snuggling up to my marefriend" she would say with a bigger smile and kiss her softly on the cheek "I think we're about half way, so we can finish watching then head to bed" she would say.

Scarlet would smile and kiss him with a nod "I also always saw your mom as a second mom"

"Even before we became a couple, you would always love snuggling me. I can say the same about you too. I absolutely adore being able to snuggle up to my girlfriend, or would it be bunnyfriend, in this case?" Gentle jokingly replied with a giggle, before smiling as she felt the kiss upon her cheek. "Okay and that sounds like a fair deal. If you fall asleep, then I'll make sure to wake you up, okay? I wouldn't want you to miss a classic movie like this. Plus, I think the halfway point is the group meeting all of the other alley cats. I always loved that song, Everybody Wants to be a Cat. It was such a catchy song, in my opinion."

- In Manehattan -

Dynamo returned the kiss and nodded. "I remember whenever your mom was working, you would go to my mom if you ever needed help. I think my mom would always try to find time to make sure that she'd spoil you with gifts and sweets." He chuckled, before yawning softly.

After some time, the movie had finished and Devin, who had stayed quiet for the rest of the movie, would look to Gentle "I don't mind either way" she would say and picked up the rubbish from their meals and snacks, putting it in the trash can and stretching "Come on then love, who shall shower first before bed?" she would ask.

Scarlet smiled and nodded to what Dynamo was saying before she finally succumbed to sleep.

After some time had passed, Gentle smiled as the movie had come to an end. The periwinkle unicorn looked over to Devin, who was picking up some of the scraps of their dinner. Not wanting to be rude, Gentle helped in picking up any trash that was left behind. She used a levitation spell to lift open the lid to the trash can, before the two placed all of the trash into said trash can. "Of course you don't mind, hon. You get to snuggle and cuddle me. So, that's basically a win in your book." She giggled, smiling playfully at the female rabbit. "I'll let you go first, then. I'll set up the bed and take my turn afterwards. Besides, you are a guest at the house, after all."

- In Manehatten -

As Scarlet had finally fell asleep, Dynamo smiled as he placed a kiss upon her forehead. "Goodnight and I love you Scar. Sweet dreams." He whispered softly, closing his eyes as he allowed sleep to take hold of him.

Morning came and Devin was curled up next to Gentle, happily twitching her whisker and tail in her sleep, and as it would so happen, her daughter Scarlet was curled up with Dynamo and happily twitching her whiskers and tail in her sleep.

As the next morning had begun, Dynamo slowly opened his eyes as he thought he saw the rays of the sun shining through the windows. As he looked around, he begun to panic slightly as the room he was in wasn't familiar to him. Upon further inspection, he soon discovered that this was Scarlet's old room in Manehattan. After recalling yesterday's events, he sighed as he tried to steady the constant beating of his heart. He looked over to Scarlet, who's whiskers and tail were twitching in her sleep. He wasn't sure what time it was, but he assumed that it was still early in the morning. Even without a clock and an alarm, the blue unicorn had an internal clock set up in his mind. An internal clock that made him get up early in the morning for no reason. He placed a kiss upon her forehead and held her close, before closing his eyes and trying to get a little bit more of rest.

Back in Ponyville at Dynamo's and Gentle's house, The periwinkle unicorn was starting to wake up, as well. As she started to gather her bearings, she looked over to her side to see Devin, who was still sound asleep. She remembered waking up to feeling as if she was being tickled. She soon noticed that Devin's whiskers were twitching in her sleep. Which meant that the whiskers were nuzzled against Gentle's cheek. She looked over at the mini clock on the nightstand to see that while it was early, it was still a good time to get up. "Hey, Dev? Come on. It's morning and it's time to get up." She shook her shoulder slightly in an attempt to wake her up. She waited to see if the female rabbit would wake up, before having to resort to other wake up methods.

Scarlet would soon awake and smile as she would snuggle closer to Dynamo "Mm good morning love" she would say sleepily, and nuzzle him. She would then look at her phone and smile "Bright and early" she would say "Come on love, lets go say goodbye to my aunts then make our way home"

Back in Ponyville, Devin will be asleep until her bestfriend turned marefriend would wake her up "Mm morning already?"

Dynamo still had his eyes closed, but he wasn't fully asleep. He tried to rest, but he decided to try and rest his eyes. He slowly opened his eyes as he felt Scarlet had begun to nuzzle him. "Good morning to you too, honey. How did you sleep." He chuckled slightly as her nuzzles were tickling him. "Bright and early, huh? Sounds to me like we'll be able to avoid any and all traffic." He threw a fist into the air as he cheered slightly, before nodding and sitting up in bed. "Okay and sounds good to me, babe. I hope we get to see them again sometime. Your aunts are really nice."

Back in Ponyville, Gentle smiled softly as she was able to help Devin in waking up. "Good morning, Dev. It's definitely morning. So, it's time for you to get up, lazy bones. The kids will be coming home very soon." She nuzzled Devin's cheek, before giving her a fake pout. "I was hoping that you would have still been sleeping. Otherwise, I would have tried to kiss and wake you up. I could imagine it working since we saw plenty of Disney films yesterday." She giggled with a playful smirk.
