You own an arcade. What games do you put in it?

I think it's time to pay some respects to an industry that's barely still alive. We really shouldn't have to travel all the way to Chicago and visit Galloping Ghost just to play some arcade games.

Let's say you get the funding necessary to start your own arcade, and fill it up with some badass retro titles and other games that are currently being produced only for Japan, or one of several Dave & Busters in the US that are too few and far between. As per the norm, choose coin-op titles only. While there are many games you enjoy on the current market, the idea here is to make money.

My picks:

Platformers-

Metal Slug 1-6
Robocop
Magic Sword
Elevator Action Returns
Shinobi
Shadow Dancer
Rampage
Rampage: World Tour
Rampage 2018

Beat em ups-

Final Fight
Knights of the Round
Armored Warriors
The Punisher
Alien vs. Predator
Cadillacs and Dinoaurs
Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom
Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Over Mystara
Die Hard: Arcade
X-Men (6-player version)
TMNT: Turtles in Time
Double Dragon 1 and 2
Sengoku 3
Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon

Fighting games-

Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting
Super Street Fighter II Turbo
Street Fighter Alpha 2
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Street Fighter III: New Generation
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
Ultra Street Fighter IV
Street Fighter V: Type Arcade
Street Fighter EX2 Plus
Darkstalkers
Night Warriors
Vampire Savior
Power Stone
Spawn: In the Demon's Hand
Heavy Metal: Geomatrix
Red Earth
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
Cyberbots
Tech Romancer
X-Men: Children of the Atom
Marvel Super Heroes
Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2
Capcom vs. SNK 1 and 2
King of Fighters '98
King of Fighters 2002
Virtua Fighter 2
Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown
Virtual On
Tekken Tag 1
Mortal Kombat 2
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
Mace: The Dark Ages

Shooters-

Time Crisis 1 - 3
Virtua Cop 1 - 3
House of the Dead 1 & 2
Brave Firefighters
Silent Scope 1 - 3
Aliens: Extermination
Aliens: Armageddon
Alien: Covenant
Terminator: Salvation

Racing games-

Crusin' USA
Cruisin' World
Cruisin' Blast
Daytona USA 1 and 2
Batman 2013
H2 Overdrive
All four Mario Kart GP games

Pinball machines-

Any game based on a movie license from Stern Pinball

I just googled it. Is that game coin-op? Because I'm not seeing pictures anywhere of designated arcade cabinets for it, and PC and console games don't count.

No Gauntlet? Gauntlet Legends and Gauntlet Dark Legacy are must haves for me.

I’m actually looking up how much it would cost to own one for real. Not too crazy price wise. If I save up a few pay checks I could actually own one of them.

Star Wars Arcade game (that's its title).

Star Wars Arcade – A Look Back At A Piece Of Art

And Tempest.

Tempest X Replicade – New Wave Toys

There were a few others but these were the two I played gthe most. I especially loved the Star Wars Arcade game that had the sit-down cabinet and the built-in motion sim, which I only experienced once, in Reno, Nevada, at a casino.

I've always thought of the idea of starting up a motor racing café with arcade machines of famous racing titles like Daytona USA and Sega Rally, also underrated favorites of mine like Off Road Challenge and such.

yes

To be more specific, all the games. Every space would have an arcade game, you can barely even walk through the place there would be so many. And if there's room even though every unique arcade game has already been added, I will add duplicates for each one. Yes, I would likely go broke, but it would be worth it. I would be happy for awhile, and happiness is good. Until I see the bill, I would be happy.
