Tulpa Discussion Thread V1.2

Rizoel & Crepuscule

Recommended Posts

Yeah, that's awesome, and it would be cool if that was actually the case, but the point of this thread is to discuss an existing phenomenon. Sure it's possible that you've produced a pastel colored horse from your nostrils in 10 seconds flat, you're a medical miracle, but you're making it quite obvious you don't actually believe something like this is possible.

I would obviously never believe it if anyone claimed it was a spiritual thing, since spiritual stuff doesn't exist. However, the concept of a thought form is entirely logical and not at all based on magic and such.

If you've got any actual arguments for thinking what you think, I'll discuss that any day. However, edgy comments like the ones you just posted are obviously just here to spawn attention (hence my use of the term troll), and I'm not going to take the bait and continue this argument if that's all you've got.

So yeah. Sorry for any typos or nonsensical shit in my post, it's 5 AM why the hell am I awake

I will tell you that I truly do believe in actual physical concepts and entities coming about through thought. Schizophrenics are able to produce them, and the human mind is absolutely wondrous as a machine. You can call me a troll because it took you 3 months to produce a tulpa and for me five seconds, but I am just posting on the thread that I've just produced a Tulpa just so others can understand that a tulpa can be produced just as easily.

I will not apologize for your disbelief. I am only mentioning this supposed "five-second phenomenon" to those who might believe. Oh, and Rainbow Dash has flown back inside the room because it was getting a bit dark outside, and she seriously has no idea where she is.

Hey, not that I am personally upset, or that I disagree with what you stated in your post, I just want to give you some friendly advice.

The sentence I'm quoting is a breeding ground for ill-will and I'd advise that you edit it as to keep yourself from being yelled at or anything.

You know people on the internet, touchy, easy to get off topic, and even if you truly believe in what you say, and thousands of people back you up, there is going to be someone out there that sees this and flips out.

Like I said, I have nothing against what you said, I'm just trying to help you out for your sake.

I should have probably said that differently, sorry about that, I was just trying to make my point clear. This guy here is clearly not trying to contribute to the thread, so let's just return to the regularly scheduled posts, shall we?

95% of peoples on Earth believe in a God. So it would be a good idea to revise your statement in order to avoid "pushed buttons". I am contributing in my own way. I am stating that a Tulpa exists, and you automatically find it to be a lie because you cannot believe that I've produced one in five seconds? But you expect others to believe everything you say? It is a contradiction. I am not trying to get you riled up. I am stating an occurrence that has come about.

Alright, alright you two! This is no way to be going about such discussions.

Shaoni - Kindly shut the buck up about this and let MallaJong1 explain how this "tulpa" was made.

MallaJong1 - Kindly shut the buck up about this and explain just how you did this before someone else jumps in and starts accusing you of being a troll and the forums are short a member.

First I'd like to be super original and say that 84% of statistics are made up on the spot. Just because I love that saying, it's hilarious. I didn't mean a god specifically, I meant anything that doesn't have an explanation defined by logic, such as ghosts and what not.

But the fact is that sure, you might have created a tulpa in 5 seconds, you might very well have an amazing mind which is capable of doing such wonders, but it still sounds ridiculously unlikely considering the immense amount of concentration it supposedly takes. I'm not saying you're a troll because of this, it's more the fact that your first message is obviously mocking the concept.

As Karpington said, this is a pointless discussion right now, so yeah, this'll be my final comment for now.

Well, you can believe whatever you want. I am just stating that it is completely possible, and although one can come up with a method that is probably also legitimate because it takes 1-3 months does not mean that it cannot take five seconds. Maybe I had a talent for it all along. Who knows? I just know that Rainbow Dash is staring me down right now for not budging. Oh, she just flew away with a "huff".

I'm not sure whether you're serious or you're just mocking the bronies here......

This looks really fascinating actually. I almost want to create a tulpa, but I'm scared in case it turns out to be real, and I won't know how to deal with the fact that there's a pony in my room. Also, theoretically, to talk to them, would I have to speak out loud, or could I interact telepathically with them?

Well, according to other people who've done it the imposition is the last thing you'll do (AKA actually making it appear outside of your head), so by then you would probably know your tulpa well enough to not be weirded out by it. Of course, having a cartoon character in real life is a pretty creepy concept.

As for the telepathy thing, I asked the same thing earlier, and apparently it's possible, though not preferable.

Oi! Come on now, I'm giving you a chance to redeem yourself free of biased! Don't squander this chance free of heavy attention!

Ah yes, a fear I shared long ago too. Don't worry, I've only ever heard of one case of this happening, and that was in a creepypasta, so I don't think it was very factual. Also, as far as I know, you can communicate with them through nearly any mentally involved medium, seeing as how they are just an extension of your subconscious.

So, has anyone in this thread actually created one? If so, can you offer some insight on how well it's worked out? I do think this is possible, if it's just a psychological and not something that could react with the real world.

It's definitely just psychological - it doesn't make much sense for thoughts to push objects around.

Talk to the around five people on tulpa.info that have imposed their tulpa in their head. While a fascinating concept, it is highly unlikely(in my opinion) that a tulpa can manifest itself into the real world. Metaphysical and parapsychological people can argue all they want, but that's how I think.

And as for Mallajong, tell me how you did it then. I am looking forward to hearing your excuses on how you did it in five seconds. Heck, Dante was already somewhat aware and communicating with me less than three hours to tulpaforcing, but forming an excact copy of Rainbow Dash with personality, form and behavior in your head, making her speak and then impose it to your senses in five seconds is impossible, no matter how much faith you have.

Okay, I will explain how I produced a Tulpa of Rainbow Dash in five seconds. Before I go on, I'll just state that I produced her accidentally. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I'm telling you that the only reason it took "only" a few seconds is because I was just focusing on producing a Tulpa just to see if it would work. And it did. Rainbow Dash is literally have a tantrum right now in front of me, and I'm doing my best to ignore her because I was not quite prepared for her arrival.

To move on:

Rainbow Dash's Body: One does not particularly need to have every exact measurement or ramified body size for one's Tulpa to be produced efficiently. Basically I imagined Rainbow Dash a size she would sport if she were on Earth, right next to me. I've imagined this before, so I already had a definite idea of how large Rainbow Dash would physically be. I am sure many bronies have imagined this at least once in their lives (whether having imagined it through a fanfic or by themselves while focusing on producing a Tulpa). Rainbow Dash still has the bright and vivid colors of the series, though I notice her blue hue glows just a tiny bit, as if it were highlighted faintly. Her hair's strands are a little more noticeable, though not as much as a human's head of hair. More like black lines outlining the separation of her colors and bunches of strands stocked together.

Rainbow Dash's Voice: Essentially the same process for Rainbow Dash's body. Except her voice is so much more lifelike, with higher pitches coming out much more (but that might be because she is pretty angry right now. I've been trying to tell her to calm down, but she's just not taking it. I'll be sure to have a lengthy talk to her after MasterChef).

Rainbow Dash's Personality: Well, as far as I can tell, it is Rainbow Dash. I used every memory I had of Rainbow Dash and just put into a pocket of information. I used this pocket to add it into my Tulpa like an SD card into a digital camera. I used this metaphorical comparison (I imagined it during the "Tulpa Production" process) to implant Rainbow Dash's personality. But it seems Rainbow Dash is not TOTAL Rainbow Dash. She is actually complaining by using profanity. Something I've never seen her do before, obviously. My SD card might have taken that from my mind. A note: I RARELY USE PROFANITY. I am a very positive individual. So I have no idea why Rainbow is yelling and screaming. I do not do this, though I have in the past. So maybe that is why?

Anyway, I just told myself "Rainbow Dash is here." And, "boom" (literally a "boom" It was a soft, explosive reverberation that resounded in my ears). I could feel my mucus membrane vibrate a bit. Yes, once again, I know this is sounding more ridiculous, but it is the truth, and I am just stating it.) there she was. Rainbow Dash was on top of a long coffee table that is set in the middle of the living room, and she didn't look the bit confused. She just flew up to me quickly and said "Let's go outside."

Well, that is all for now. Any more questions?

Anyway, if I ever decide to do this, it definitely won't be anytime soon because I'm still skeptical about whether I want one or not and I'm still researching about this. It's fascinating to say the least. I'm just curious as to how living with a tulpa is, but I'm not sure if it's right for me. But regards to those who are working on making one.

Lots of words I can't believe this guy took the time to write

You don't happen to be on any of that medication you mentioned earlier? Because this sounds very much like you're bullshitting for epic lulz or on some strong stuff. I can't imagine how you'd type a novel in either condition, though.

I definitely think it's something that should take a lot of thought, considering you're creating an actual, sentient being with feelings and all. It's basically like giving birth to a fully grown entity, I'd say. Except without the pain.

Hahahaha. Well, I will not argue with you anymore. No, I am not on medication. I am just an individual who's produced a Tulpa.

No need to be rude, Shaoni. While I find it difficult to believe Malla was able to do this so easily, it doesn't invalidate it. It's one hundred percent possible, but it's not easy for most people. Simple as that. If you can make a tulpa in two months, why can't one be made in twenty seconds? Like, really. Please tell me, what is the restriction here?

The only problem I have, is with the amount of processing your brain would have had to accomplish in five seconds (as previously claimed, multiple times) to do this.

On average, a person thinks at a pace of about 2-4 full, conscious thoughts per minute.

I am not claiming that this is impossible, but the sheer amount of work your brain makes this "5 second tulpa" unlikely.

Perhaps a rewording is in order.

Thank YOU so much! You have no idea how good it feels to know that someone else out there can understand the possibility of a Tulpa being produced so quickly. It just goes to show that there are those that can take "possibility" into account. I have just been making the exact argument. What makes his words credible and mine have none?

Her hair's strands are a little more noticeable, though not as much as a human's head of hair. More like black lines outlining the separation of her colors and bunches of strands stocked together.

None of the people who have created a pony tulpa made it look exactly like in the series, having a 2D animation on a 3D world doesn't make sense.

That does not explain how you made her talk in five seconds. There's theories about tulpae being sentient the moment their creator starts forcing, but they are nowhere near able to talk nor most of the time even communicate with you.

Rainbow Dash's Personality: Well, as far as I can tell, it is Rainbow Dash. I used every memory I had of Rainbow Dash and just put into a pocket of information. I used this pocket to add it into my Tulpa like an SD card into a digital camera. You can not 'upload a personality' into a tulpa, there is always deviation no matter how hard you try. And not liking profanity is really debatable, swearing in the series was rare and never discussed about, so you can't know her opinion of it, even if you could create an exact copy of her personality.

Anyway, I just told myself "Rainbow Dash is here." And, "boom" (literally a "boom" It was a soft, explosive reverberation that resounded in my ears). I could feel my mucus membrane vibrate a bit. No matter how skilled you are, no matter how much faith you have, you can not create a tulpa in five seconds, especially with your contradicting logic.

Well, that is all for now. Any more questions?

Yeah, can you stop bullshitting us and move somewhere else to troll?

Well, "five second Tulpa" is just a name. I don't know how many seconds it took exactly, but I assure it was less than twenty seconds. And, as I said, it might have just been a phenomenon. Though I am recounting my own experience on a thread about Tulpas, anyway.

Of course it's possible to create a tulpa in 5 seconds. No one would know that if they haven't experienced it. This doesn't change that it sounds incredibly unlikely and I can't really take a story from one guy which sounds incredibly sarcastic as proof.

Oh, who cares, this guy is obviously trolling. Have fun with RD, wish it was me. Also I'm terribly sorry for incredibly late answers, my brain isn't working properly today.

Ah but you see, you've been selling it as that name. That's why people have been skeptical.

Again 20 seconds is still generally too little of time for the average brain to process the volume of information mentioned and referred to. Now, you may have an extraordinary mind, that is very possible, but your mind would have to be so extraordinary, the chance of you being on the internet would again, be unlikely. I'd say the best time for a human would be five to ten days, for something to be as detailed as you said.

I'd love to believe you just as much as I'd love not to believe you, it's just that what you have stated is too controversial for me to choose one of either opinion that I can stick by and trust as logical. Surely it is not impossible, but the claimed circumstances make it something implausible.

Now, that does not mean I lack an opinion. As for that, I'd go as far as to say that this conversation has gone down the road of the nonsensical, and as such, my opinion has been cemented in the fact that the absolute truth will never be known.
