Hiya! I'm new here, but I'm an artist, so I decided to post some of my art.

This is my oc, I just finished making her :) her name is Prisma Planets, and she's an astrophysicist.

And here is a pixel of two adorable ponies someone commissioned me to draw:

dcievyu-1b7aeeb5-e318-408d-acd2-4a1a503a

and here is an animated twilight: dcbr2wa-70b97318-8f41-402a-bd0a-29786874

Hope you guys like. The last 2 are a bit old, but I just recently got back into drawing ponies, so there will be more to come! :ooh: my deviantart page is here, if any of you are interested.  https://www.deviantart.com/hinaii

I noticed that your OC has a crazy effect filter applied to her (the cyan to the left, red to the right by one pixel). Did you do that manually or using a some tool? Is it just there to protect your art against modification, or to make it pop out more?

You are a wonderful artist! That is a broad range of art styles, and they are all looking their best! :fluttershy:

Your art is great, both pixelated or not. And I really like the color scheme of your OC, simple but beautiful and pleasing to look at. Now, excuse me, I have found a new artist to follow on DeviantArt~

ohh, cool that you noticed! I did it using a tool (chromatic aberration) in medibang paint. I just decide to add it sometimes to make it pop out more :mlp_icwudt:

Thank you so much!

That is really cool! It is something most cheap digital cameras do (because of their lenses and light reflections, it tends to add a blueish glow on outlines of objects). I usually try to do something similar with layers and blending modes, but it never gets the way you did it!

Notice how we both want to add something that is considered an art affect of cheap cameras, instead of trying to do something that is more realistic. It may have to do with how we look at photos, and what we notice and enjoy. Many professional photographers would dislike chromatic aberration in their photos, but that doesn't stop us from using it in our own painted drawings, lol! :LunaMCM:

I never knew that, pretty interesting! and that filter alone is the only reason I have medibang paint installed :adorkable:  I'm sure you do a great job of making a similar effect, and it's nice to meet another artist here!

Yeah, I guess it really just comes down to taste :squee: it just looks cooler to me for some reason, but that's enough reason for me to use it a lot!

Those are some hella good proportions and coloring! I especially love the shaping of the hair on prisma. The pixel art on the other hand is super distinct with its shaping as well and the coloring just makes it pop out, very cool!

Thank you so much! I'm happy you like my art!  Colouring is definitely my favourite part of drawing ^^

Beautiful! Simply divine! I love your style in that first picture. Coming from someone who knows the pain of drawing good detailed manes/tails, I really like how you made those especially.

And for the other two images, well, I'm a sucker for smaller pixely art.

Thank you!! I love drawing manes/tails, but you are right that it can be painful sometimes! :scoots:

and I'm super glad you like my pixels too! :yay:

Its like a lineless pixelart maybe... its a 450x450 canvas where you draw with a binary pen. Yeah i guess its right to call it lineless pixelart xd

Edit: welp, googled an they do have a pixelated lineart xd

For what i see, draw like you normally do but using a binary pen. The size of the canvas its optional it seems

Ohh, I get what you mean! I don't think I have yet, but I'll be sure to try that style out sometime  always wanted to try something like it before
