Do you think Ponies in Equestria have the same lifespan as human Ponies?

The average lifespan of a Pony is 25-30 years, do you think it's around the same for Equestrian Ponies?

No concrete data on life spans, but I've seen a compelling argument that all the pony races age at different rates.

Earth pones live the shortest considering how many elderly earth ponies we see. 

Pegasai maybe live twice as long as we see aged but not really old pegasai in Stormy Flare, Windrider and both FLuttershy and Dashie's parents.

Unicorns live the longest as we've only seen two elderly unicorns: Starswirl and Mistmane. 

So if any of the races does live for that long, it'll be the earth ponies, but the are estimates that the live probably longer in the 40-60 years range.

Granny Smith says no. Considering she's literally been around since the founding of Ponyville which was at least a hundred years ago, probably even more than that. I don't know how typical Granny is, but Grand Pear seems to be of similar age and he's still kicking too. Honestly, I think it's possible ponies might even have naturally longer life spans than humans.

I think they live the same age as humans, perhaps slightly longer.

On a tangentially related note, I see a lot of art work that depicts the ponies at a rideable size. However I’m 100% certain that the vast majority of them (excepting ponies like Celestia) only come up past the knees, MAYBE up to the hip on most humans.

Nah - more like humans, if not longer. Probably the same for most sapient species. (Perhaps being an exception to this is one reason cows, sheep and such are still treated as livestock.)

No, they definitely age the same as humans do.  Granny Smith and Grand Pear are already the easiest counters to this, living far longer than the average age of a real-life horse, and in the finale, Twilight's friends were shown to appear middle-aged.

I think Equestrian ponies have a much different lifespan than the ponies in real life.
