Tinker looked thoughtful but also respectfully serious, what he heard made him curios, as he had never thought about something like that being possible, but the reasoning for it was serious topic, and he honestly didn't know how he should have reacted. "I see, I did wonder what your story was, but I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to ask yet." he admitted "And all I can really say is that I'm impressed, I didn't know something like that was yet possible."

"Well as I said, very experimental. Lots of science and magic involved. And to me and my parents, if it didn't work and I died from it, at least I would no longer be in pain" she would say but then smiles "I'm just happy it worked" she smiles "there are some problems here and there, like I sometimes lose power or over heat, but other than that, it's all good" she would smile a bit more "I appreciate your caution, but it would have been alright if you asked."

"Power and heat issues?" Tinker repeated "Sounds like component problem, I could look into that someday if you want, it's likely something that can be fixed with replacement parts." "If you're comfortable with that of course, because cybernetic or not, it's still your body." when he thought about it, he wasn't really sure what it would feel like for somepony like Serenity to have somepony messing with her systems, would she feel it? would it hurt? sure he could ask, but he still wouldn't know exactly since he wasn't the one experiencing it.

She would nod "you have my permission to check everything out, if and when I have another crash" she would say "It'd be nice to have someone knowledgeable here to actually help" she would say with a smile.

Tinker nodded "I just hope my knowledge is enough."  he then made his way upstairs, and after few minutes came back carrying his cart with him, setting it down when he reached the bottom of the stairs. "Ready?"

Serenity nods and smiles "Yep, just let me shut myself down" she would say, using her magic to flip the switch that was hidden under fur just above her tailbone, shutting herself down.

Tinker blinked, it seemed that there had been a slight miscommunication since he had meant if Serenity was ready to go, but he was glad that Serenity trusted him enough to turn herself off just like that. He left the cart behind and walked to Serenity, he checked the body for any maintenance hatches and would proceed to check the components, avoiding any unnecessary touching for sake of being respectful. 

He couldn't actually fix anything right now because he would need to build the new components first, but having found the cause of the problems and seeing that the systems inside were his hoof-work, it should be easy to fix. He put everything back to its place and flipped the switch he had seen Serenity flip, making sure he touched only the switch and nothing else.

After Tinker flipped the switch, she would power back on and then looked to him with a smile "Hey there stranger" she'd say and giggle, "Did you find out what you needed?" she would ask, using her magic to pick up her saddle bag and put it on, "If so, then we should probably go get our food shopping done"

Tinker nodded as he took the cart with him again "It turns out that the components making your body work are my hoof work, so making new ones should be easy enough." he held the door open for Serenity, letting her to go through before going outside himself. "I don't really remember ever making parts for cybernetic body, so it has probably been one of those vague orders I get now and then."

"Your own work? Well, that certainly makes things easier..and more interesting" she would say and walking through the door, thanking him for holding it open for her. "Well, regardless, I suppose I have you to thank, if not for these parts, I wouldn't be here"

"I'm glad I have been able to help somepony, even if I did it without knowing." Tinker said as response, not really knowing what else to say, he hadn't prepared to be thanked for something this big. "I got thinking, that switch, is turning it on the only way to wake you up if it has been turned off?" he was wondering this because it seemed like a big risk if there was no other way for her to wake up.

Serenity smiles and thinks for a moment "Pretty much, This body feels and acts much like a natural body would, bowels and all, but..yeah the switch is the only to power me back up if I power down" she would say to him, beginning to walk towards the store, after locking their door of course "And of course, if I have a power shortage or over heat, please do switch me off completely with the switch. It does help conserve power, and well I don't feel anything when powered down completely"

And don't meant the malfunctions, what if it accidentally gets flipped when you're alone, or someone with ill intentions finds out about it?" he then asked "I'm sorry if the question is bit pessimistic, but I'm the kind to make fail-safes on fail-safes, and I'm just curious what you think about it."

She would look to him and raise an eyebrow but nods "I can understand your concerns, and appreciate it, but as you can..or can't see, it is rather well hidden under my fur" she would say "How-ever there is a failsafe for this" she'd say "In my room is a monitoring device, so if I am out and you're at home and something happens to me, the alarm will go off" she says, looking at him with a smile.

"And please tell me if any my questions are inappropriate, I'm just curious because I have never met somepony in your situation before, and it's fascinating to learn what you think about things." he gave a careful smile "Speaking of, do you have anything you're curious about regarding me? When they arrived to the market place, he would speak again "So what it is that you usually eat?" he himself was aright with pretty much anything, having mostly eating whatever was the cheapest and easiest to make.

She smiles and nods, looking around "Honestly, I just usually buy things like fruit and vegetables." She'd say "Of course, I also get a lot of snacks and energy drinks and coffee, being a online streamer and all" she'd say, "How about you?"

"I'll just usually buy what's the cheapest and easiest to make." Tinker explained "I just don't see the point of paying lot of money and seeing lot of effort if you make food for only yourself." it wasn't necessarily the healthiest way to live, but it fit him.

"I'm sure we will get to an agreement about a schedule, I just need to figure out what times I should keep my shop open." he would need to keep the shop open himself for now, but he would eventually hire somepony else to his place so that he can focus on tinkering. "I can make it to fit your usual working times so that scheduling cooking and other things is easier."

"Alright, sounds good to me" she'd say, "How about we both go separate ways and then meet up in the middle with what we've got so far? I'll go get the stuff I need for my streaming sessions, but I'll also get the vegetables, if you can get the rest, please"

"Sounds like a plan" Tinker agreed with a nod, and if Serenity didn't have anything else to say, he would proceed to go to his direction. He looked around as he went, trying to get the general layout of the area so he would know how to navigate there in the future, and he would also ask directions and such from the ponies he interacted with. When he reached the middle, he had everything from fruits and other food items to miscellaneous scrap with him, and if Serenity wasn't there, he would wait and look around.

Pretty soon Serenity would arrive at the centre with her streaming goods and her part of the list. She smiles as she approaches Tinker and waves to him "I got everything I need and on my half of the list" she would say "Though I wish there was a way we could avoid the gryphon stalls, "I honestly can't stand the smell of the meat they sell" she says, pulling a face.

Serenity's wave would be met by wave from one of Tinker's arms "I have everything too, so if you're ready to leave, I am." he replied with a smile "And I agree on the smell, though it took me a moment to realize what it was because this is the first time I've actually smelled it." he didn't know if he had just been lucky or if gryphons didn't come to Ponyville marketplace, but he hadn't seen any meat vendors before, though he was aware of them existing so it didn't shock him. "I suggest we move quickly when passing their stalls to avoid getting the smell stuck on ourselves."
