Rook Sighed, "Doodle? Help out here..."

 

No reply. Doodle seemed to be doing something on his own right now.

 

"OK... like I said, SLEEP!" It began to be clear to him that these ponies must nocturnal, since he was the only normalish pony here that thought they should investigate in the morning. Maybe he could get some sleep on the train to canterlot. But he wanted to be here investigating, though.

 

"I think Alexandrite should go to canterlot. It was his idea, plus he can take soil samples or something..."

''I don't want to do it! My Mind thinks I can read minds all the time!'' Said Splinter as shrugging. ''I don't need sleep... I'm going to get some Training in.'' Said Splinter as putting his Outfit back on. He pulled out 2 loaded guns and climbed up a pipe. ''See ya tomorrow!'' Said Splinter before landing on the top of a building.

"AM I SERIOUSLY THEY ONLY NORMAL PONY HERE?" Yelled Rook at Splinter. He calmed down. "Ok... I'm going to sleep. I will meet up with you ponies later."

 

Rook walked back home, itching to get back in his nice warm bed. He will investigate tomorrow

Splinter sat on a building flipping a gun around. ''I'm bored...'' Said Splinter as shooting a bulling into the air. ''I guess I'll sleep here.'' Said Splinter as yawning. He fell asleep leaning against a Pipe.

Rook was very tired as he slowly walked back to his house. Of all the things, now his life was on the line because of this murder case. He just wanted to go home, sleep, and think it over. "Why are we so much into it? All we found was a rock."

 

Rook turned down another street. He then heard a muffled scream in another down an alleyway he was near. He looked down the alleyway and saw the unthinkable.

 

Right there, down the alley, was a hooded pony with a knife in their hooves. The hooded pony stood above a tied up pony on her back that was convulsing in pain and fear. The hooded pony was about to start cutting her stomach when Rook charged.

 

He ran right into the hooded pony. They fell over and dropped the knife. The hood blocked out the pony's face, all Rook could see was the evil glowing eyes it had. Rook was face to face with the murderer they were looking for.

 

Rook was stopped in fear at seeing the eyes. That couldn't have been natural. The hooded pony then too the chance and ran off, getting away.

 

Rook was dazed and it took him a second to fully grasp the situation. He looked over at the murderer's newest victim. Bleeding and tied up. "Poor, mare." he thought, "She didn't even stand a chance"

 

She was brown with a black mane. On closer inspection, it appeared she was a Pegasus, since he could see the remainder of her wing nubs... not to mention the actual wings which were thrown to the side. Her cutie marks were already sliced off. There was a small cut on her stomach from where the murderer was about to start cutting and taking out organ like his/her last victims. By the way she was convulsing earlier, it would appear that the murderer liked to mutilate his victims before they died. That was horrible.

 

Rook took a look at her face. There was a large bruise between her mane and ear, probably from a knock out blow so the murderer could tie her up to begin his operation. There was a long cut across her face.

 

Just a Rook got closer, her eyes opened. Rook was startled and fell backwards.

 

"...help...me..." she tried to say

 

 

 

(OOC ok *shiver* that was a gory post, but somepony had to do it.

Hearing the scream Starbolt ran towards the source of the scream.

She saw a hooded figure running towards.

'Need to use magic.'

Trying to cast a spell but it failed because she is still to weak from the spell she used earlier.

Not having any other thing to do she tackled the hooded pony.

Unfortunately the hooded pony was stronger than she is and threw her aside and hit her hard.

Being to weak to do anything else as the hooded pony ran away she just let out a moan.

 

(OOC I assume he doesnt have his knife anymore or else Starbolt would...... i wouldent talk about it. Anyway Rook heard Starbolt.)

"...please...make it...stop..." said the mare.

 

"Don't worry, I will help you." said Rook. He floated the knife over to him and cut the ropes.

 

She looked at the knife "...kill...me..."

 

"No, I won't hurt you. I'm here to help you."

 

"...no...please...kill...me...the...pain..."

 

"What?"

 

"...can't...live...any...more...end...it..."

 

Just then, there was another scream.

 

"Sweet Celestia! That sounded like Starbolt!"

 

Rook was torn, he couldn't just leave the poor mare. Yet Starbolt might be in trouble!

Rook decided to drag the mare off to the side and go see if Starbolt was ok. Rook dragged her to the side wall of the alley so she could sit up.

 

"...want...death..."

"No, I didn't save you just to have you die on me! You WILL be alright! That's an order!"

 

The mare looked up at him.

"...thank...you..."

 

Rook took one last look. "I will be back."

 

Rook, ran off. Taking the knife with him for both the mare's and his safety. When he got to Starbolt, she was on the ground moaning.

"Starbolt, are you alright?"

 

She nodded.

"Were you attacked by a hooded pony?"

She nodded.

"Get UP! We don't have much time!"

 

Rook grabbed hoof and pulled back on her hooves. She was a bit wobbly, but she would be alright.

 

"I'm sorry for pushing you, but we have bigger problems on our hooves!"

 

They both ran back to the alley were the mare was. Rook saw her eyes were closed and feared the worse. Luckily, she slowly open her eyes when she heard them.

 

"...you...came...back...I...thought...you...lied..." She smiled "...thank...you..."

Splinter set off a bullet and heard the scream. He saw the hooded pony running out of the alleyway. He jumped off the building and ran towards the hooded pony with a Gun in his hand and a Grenade in the other. ''OKAY! WHAT DID YOU DO IN THERE, BURGER BRAIN?!'' Yelled Splinter in a typically insane tone. He tackled the pony. Splinter put a gun up to his head. ''Don't you move a hoof, or your doomed.'' Said Splinter as kicking him in the stomach.

"Thanks for the help Rook i tried to stop him but im to exhausted to even cast a simple wall spell." Said Starbolt weakly.

Seeing the mare Starbolt almost fainted. "Oh my." She said simply.

Splinter took a phone out of his Pocket. ''9-1-1? This Is Splinter C. Hood, I have found a hooded pony... He has injured a nearby mare in an alleyway.'' Said Splinter as dragging him back into the alleyway. He noticed that Starbolt and Rook were there. ''Uhm...'' Said Splinter as his eyes widened. ''I Um... Didn't expect to see you guys here!'' Said Splinter in an awkward tone.

Rook looked at the mare. she was still losing a lot of blood.

 

"Splinter, give me you stupid outfit. We need a bandage now!."

Splinter gave that 'why-me' look.

"You the only freaking pony here that wears clothes! I think you'll live."

Rook took the bandage and wrapped it around the mare's flanks and the wing nubs.

 

They all looked at the hooded pony. Who was this monster?

 

"Splinter, take off that hood."

 

Splinter did so, and every pony was shocked. It was DOODLE!

''DOODLE?!'' Said Splinter as his jaw dropped.

Pencil Doodle closed his eyes and performed a huge sigh.

His hair was spikier than it had ever been before, and both his eyes and horn were glowing a neon red.

There seemed to be blood dripping out of his mouth, just in-between his sharpened teeth

He was more monster than colt now

He began to talk:

"Do you like it? It's all i have in my life now..."

 

"You're probably wondering why i do this"

Pencil said as he menacingly turned away

"Ever since i was a child... around 15 i think? Murder has become a part of who i am"

"I started out being disgusted by it, the thought of taking another ponies life, but now... it fells as normal as breathing"

"Oh yes, i was that mass-murderer that was on the news all those years ago. It's why i live in the alley, it's why i come across as unstable... it's me..."

 

Pencil rapidly turned back to face them, pulling another knife out of a pocket using magic

"I alwaays intended for a better Equestria, but i always get... 'sidetracked'... i needed a legacy to continue before a became the monster i've hated all my life"

"That's where you came in... a group of Equestria's finest, the only ones who could ever even attempt to stop me..."

 

Pencil raised the knife

"But you caught me in the act, therefore, you'r challenge ends here..."

''BANG, BANG BANG!'' Screamed Splinter as pulling out a gun. He aimed for Pencil's head. Praying he made the shot, Splinter pulled the trigger.

Doodle ran off. They heard the police ponies and the guard dogs closing in on them.

 

 

Suddenly, they were all surrounded.

 

"Halt! Who goes there!"

 

"Splinter, you idiot" Rook whispered, "you called the police?"

Rook looked at the mare again, he knew that the police would kill her since the Doodle didn't finish, to not have a pony witness running around screaming about murderers.

 

The police unicorns lights flashed in their eyes.

 

"Splinter, I'm sure you have a distracty thingy in your belt. Distract them while Starbolt and I grab the mare and make a run for it. We'll meet up later."

''Oh Crap. So... We can do this the Easy Way.. Or The My Way Way! I chose my way.'' Said Splinter as pulling a flash bang out of his belt. The Police men were blinded. Splinter climbed up a roof, leaving him nowhere in sight.

In the commotion, Rook and Starbolt used their combined unicorn magic to lift the mare. They ran off with her and went inside a abandoned building, waiting for hopefully splinter.
