Who here has ever watched Ernest, I've watched all the movies, and I've seen the TV show, it wasn't that great, but the movies are great, Ernest Goes To Camp is the best one in my opinion, second is Slam Dunk Ernest

I watched a ton of Hey Vern, It's Ernest! as a kid because my parents had it all on VHS. I also watched all the movies and Ernest Goes to Jail is definitely my favorite of the bunch. Jim Varney did such a great job as Ernest, I suppose he was like Pee Wee Herman but slightly less of a kid at heart. It was an adorable franchise... quite underrated.

To this day, the phrase "know what I mean, Vern?" is a bit of an inside joke in my family.
