general It seems like YouTube keeps getting worse every year

I am started to not go on YouTube anymore since I heard that they are going to the extreme now when it comes to stuff like censorship and copy right laws. One of my friends who has a YouTube account recently almost got banned just because of a song he was using in one of his videos. 

 

Also, with YouTube comments, when you post them, there's sometimes a glitch that makes it so they won't be posted. And also, with YouTube comments, it looks like someday in the future, YouTube is probably going to get rid of all YouTube comment sections since it seems like they starting to do that now since a lot of YouTube comment sections are disabled now.

That's what you get when you don't have competitors. Youtube is seeking every little opportunity to show you an ad, they became so shameless that they can show you two unskipable ads in a row before 10sec video

Also shit's going on with algorithms and copyright. I've seen some awful cases: dude got copyrighted with his own music because other noname claimed that the track belongs to them; coppa algorithms set "made for kids" to basically every video that contains cartoon animation (including smile hd, cupcakes, etc); one of my favorite youtubers got strike because they reacted to a video with a kid playing with fireworks while original video with this kid is just fine. And I'm sure there are more examples

I tend to stick to my specific circle of subscriptions for this very reason. YouTube overall is a cesspool of garbage and it has been for years. Terrible content tends to be the theme of the trending sections and it is all simply corporate shenanigans. This is why I rarely venture out of my space on there. Very rarely will I find a new channel that I can get into.
