You should be able to upload images from your device as attachments once you advance to Muffin rank, which requires 5 posts on your counter.

You can also paste images directly from the clipboard.

{on a tangential note, hitting windows-shift-s will open the snipping tool so you can take snapshots of specific parts of your screen and any images on them, and they go straight to the clipboard}
