Bendy 1,821 December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 (edited) You are a normal human. As a newly wedded couple, Princess Celestia wants you to do a romantic gesture by carrying her up a staircase. Even a show's cannon based sized Celestia may be heavy to lift. Without even crazy alternate universes where she is even heavier. Do you accept this challenge? Or do you tell her you are not strong enough for the task at hand? Are you manly enough for the challenge? HedonismBot 240 December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 The average pony looks to be (at best) pushing the limits of what an average human can safely lift, and Celestia would have to be at least about 3-4x heavier. Unless her magical knowledge includes strength buffs, that's not going to happen.
Quinch 1,120 December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 Well, in a hypothetical situation where I'd have to carry a full grown Cakeicorn up the stairs, I might be able to do that... but her approval might depend on whether she prefers comfortableness or the manliness of the fireman's carry. Hide contents I've seen farm hands carry young livestock this way on more than one occasion. Not sure how big they can get before this becomes impractical though. Treeglow Flicker 13,697 December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 I could try. But it wouldn't be the most elegant of stair-based transportation methods.
Rainbow Cloud 18,136 December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 She might be a bit heavy and I don't want to ruin my back so would probably just drag her up the stairs instead then spend the next 1000 years banished to the Moon.
O-78 28,607 December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 I'll try, but it may not be a smooth ride for her. 1 Signature by @Mellow Mane
Sazama Ichida 2,367 December 29, 2020 Share December 29, 2020 This results in a no-win situation if you're not strong. But I don't know of a way to tell her that without her taking it as an insult. The White Shinigami
Sonic Shimmer 4,132 December 30, 2020 Share December 30, 2020 There's no way in hell I could even lift her, let alone carry her. She's basically the size of an actual horse. Friendship isn't always easy. But it's definitely worth fighting for. Twilight Sparkle is Best Pony!
Fluttershutter 2,493 December 31, 2020 Share December 31, 2020 I really don't think Celestia weighs more than an average human woman. Probably no more than 150 pounds. But I don't want to carry a woman or even a little kid up a lot of stairs. Fortunately I'm sure winged ponies can adjust their weight so she's probably just messing with you. It might work for an average pony, at least for someone who does a good amount of weightlifting.
