gaming Is the Witcher 2 worth playing?

I recently finished playing the main story of the Witcher 3 and I was just wondering is the Witcher 2 worth playing?

In my opinion, it's a good game, not just for its time. Several years ago I had a hard time playing it, because for some reason it was impossible to change the controls. However, it was still interesting: spectacular combat, good story (even Witcher 1 has a decent story, BTW), diverse enemies. I want to finish it one day.

Yeah It's pretty solid so i would recommend it. It just feels like a less polished, jankier Witcher 3. Combat is still loads of fun and the characters are still great. If you don't mind the occasional quick time event (good ol' Xbox360 loved em) I think you'll get a kick out of it. Also the first couple hours are great fun but i won't spoil anything so look forward to that if you get it!

It's clunky now, but still a good game. Remember that your choices matter if you do play it. Going back from 3 to 2 will probably be a bit jarring. If you plan on playing 1, may God have mercy on you soul be prepared for some...strange mechanics.
