Thoughts on "Welcome to the Show"?

So in the movie Rainbow Rocks. you know the song where the sirens are singing and got interrupted by the rainbooms? THE DAZZLINGS WERE SO GOOD WHY DID THEY INTERRUPT. I'm listening to the ong rn and ITS SO GOOD i know for plot and etc they did have to but imagine how good it would have been if they released a version where the rainbooms never interrupted I would love to hear the song by itself.

I think you're missing the point. The whole "Welcome to the Show" is literally part of the whole thing. Both the Sirens taking control and the Rainbooms showing up to try to stop them. Then the sirens overpowering them and finally Sunset Shimmer singing to provide heroic second wind.

And I never quite seen a song where both the hero and the villain exchange blows with song verses. So I wouldn't change Welcome to the Show for any reason because it's still pretty awesome even though if it was done in real life it would be kind of ridiculous

The only other thing I can think of is the finale of The Nightmare before Christmas video game where Jack Skellington and a powered up Oogie Boogie Sheena kind of battle duet song of the Oogie boogie song based on the original song from the movie with new lyrics

(Please note that the footage in the video is not exactly what it looks like when you're actually playing the main game this must be an extra menu where you just simply sit back and watch the scene play itself with song lyrics on the bottom)

I totally agree with you @Will Guide I wouldn't change the song in any way i'd just really love to hear the full song without the rainbooms released separately or even the rainbooms part separately!!!

In "Welcome to the Show", the Sirens were literally laying out their terms to subjugate the entire human race. The lyrics boldly state what they intend to do. They HAD to be stopped at all costs!  If the Rainbooms failed, the best backup plan would be "Take off, and nuke the entire site from orbit"!

That's a little dramatic. They just wanted to feed on that audience.

It's good, but I think that "Battle of the Bands" is the better song.

Check this fan mix out where they removed the Rainbooms! 

 

I love this whole song, and I think it made for an awesome musical climax.
