Pastel looked up at Thundy like he just took her milkshake. "Not cool, bro." She said simply and pouted. She was very catlike right now. And now she purred like one too, enjoying the unfamiliar attention as her tail swayed. Seemed like she was easy to please after all. Thundy practically had a new pet. One that talked.

"Oh, we're actually going? I don't mind, but... hopefully the caretaker won't be mad when I get back." She glanced to the right at nothing in particular.

”Caretaker? You mean…?” Little Thundy started but stopped. A train pulled in. “Next stop Ponyville!” The conductor called out after the door opened. Thundy slowly walked into the front train car and sat down still holding Pastel close, hearing her purr.

"The pony that runs the orphanage. She's nice, but... doesnt like us going far. But shes not here right now." She smiled. She couldn't believe she was going to Ponyville. She'd never been outside of Manehattan before... There was some spark in her eyes despite her lack of energy.

"Oh? Did she go on a...trip or something?" Little Thundy asked as the conductor made the last call for the train. A couple more ponies walked in, including a little foal with her mother. The little foal decided to sit next to Thundy.

"Nah. Shes just back there." She smiled, looks like she tried to make a joke.

Seeing the foal with her mother, Pastel looked down. She couldn't help but wonder what her mom was like, and if she'd be happy with her like that, in some other timeline.

Little Thundy sighed sadly as he saw Pastel put her head down upon seeing the foal and her mother. He gently stroked her fur lovingly, hugging her close like a father would do to his beloved daughter. The door closed and the train started for Ponyville.

Pastel snuggled up, comforted. She closed her eyes and relaxed, like this was the first time she got to rest in ages. The train moving gave her an odd feeling. It was the first time she ever felt that, after all.

"Woah... It's totally different in real life."

"Riding a train for the first time can be a little weird...I have a feeling we'd have to travel through fields, meadows and mountains to get to Ponyville..." Little Thundy stated. "You'd be correct little griffon..." The foals mother suddenly stated.

Pastels ears perked up. The tiny filly hopped up and climbed up onto the window like a cat, watching the scenery go by.

"Its just like the story of the pegasus' time traveling train." She smiled. A smile that veterans of Pastel may be more familiar with. This was definitely what she needed.

The train travelled through the fields and along the meadows. It climbed a small mountain, then went through a tunnel. "I like tunnels and bridges. They're so cool, especially bridges...you can see lakes and other bodies of water below..." Little Thundy commented, stroking Pastel's back lovingly.

"Body of water? Who has a body of water? Is that like, a magical girl thing? It would be weird to move around." Pastel smiled, actually having fun for once. Her tail was not shy to attention as it swayed like a cats.

“When someone says body of water, it’s referring a large area of water, like a lake or an ocean…” Little Thundy explained as the train went over a bridge. There was a lake below. “See the lake down there? That’s a body of water.” Thundy added stroking Pastel’s fur lovingly.

"Well, I know what a lake is, I-- nnya!" Another catlike reaction, Pastel closing her eyes and soaking up the attention. She was very much content. With this, she would be her best self in no time.

Thundy chuckled cutely. “You…sure act like a cat Pastel…” Thundy said gently scratching behind Pastel’s ear sweetly. The train made its way down the mountain. “Arriving at Ponyville in 5 minutes!” The conductor suddenly announced.

Pastel just looked up at Thundy cutely, tilting her head. "Nyaa?"

The announcement would make her ears perk up, and she now had her eyes glued to the window, really excited to see the birthplace of harmony so to say.

The Ponyville town hall soon came into view. "Would you look at that...we're here Pastel...Ponyville." Little Thundy said with a smile as he rubbed Pastel's head lovingly as the train pulled into Ponyville station. The engineer pulled the whistle as the train came to a stop.

"Then what are we doing sitting here? Let's get off this rolling taco stand!" Pastel seemed more energetic, this was very much her first time doing... Anything. There was still some weakness in her bounce though.

Thundy got out of the train with Pastel. Ponies of the 3 main species were walking about. Pegasi flew above. "Hmmm, where to go first..." Little Thundy thought out loud as he made sure that Pastel was next to him.

Pastel stepped out alongside Thundy, eyes taking in the place for the first time.

"Um... This is Ponyville, and Ponyville is big, so... Maybe it has a gameplace?" She meekly looked down.

"There may be an arcade of some sort...we could ask..." Little Thundy as he walked towards the town hall. "Maybe there could be more info at this building here..." Thundy said pointing to the town hall.

Pastel nodded, following Thundy to wherever he would bring her. Not like she had any idea where she'd be going otherside. She kept her eyes open like she was looking for something specifically.

Little Thundy arrived at the Town Hall and looked around. He saw a stand with maps. "Maybe a map would help us out..." Thundy said as he took a map. The map showed all there was to do in Ponyville. "Oh wow...Ponyville has a lot of stuff to do..." Thundy commented.
