How was the Brighthouse built?

I just had 1 question when I saw MLP G5 projects after the movie. I tried to find info about Sunny's Brighthouse, but it seems to me that it appeared out of thin air. I just recently started watching G5 and maybe I missed something,  but can anyone explain to me how the Brighthouse came to be?

This is how I imagine the Crystal Bright-house was built:

1. Remove the rubble and unnecessary parts.

2. Set the foundation and frame.

3. Set the other parts.

4. Set the final touches.

5. Set the united crystals and the things inside.

Thank you for your reply.

I have read the comic just now and everything that's happening in it is supposed to be after the G5 movie. So my guess is that we might see the process of building the Brighthouse there.

I think the Mane 5 just built the Brighthouse on the foundation of the original Maretime Bay lighthouse.

Lazy writing. G5's biggest problem by far.

So G5 has already been very bad at explaining anything except for the plot of the movie itself. However, it didn't explain why Sunny's dad didn't survive, but Sprout's mom did survive, making death of natural causes out of the question. And it was his house, just saying :mlp_icwudt:

So why wasn't the house explained? I think they did something in the first episode of TyT, but that is it. They definitely need to tie the story up in MyM, and not spread it over different shows!

Why is the house constantly spitting out rainbow, that is my biggest question!? And it seems to be in both directions, one downwards into the house (quite bright to try to sleep with), and one straight out into the air, while the crystal is just floating there to look cool?

How Sunny's dad didn't survive what?

Time passed and Argyle may have died from an illness during the time between Sunny's childhood and the present day.

I bet it's the lawsuit money. The architect got visited by a strange entity inside a dream and was thus inspired to design the whole thing around the rainbow thingamajig. Nopony asked questions cause nopony ever does.

Didn't stay alive because of some unknown story plot that wasn't important to the movie other than making a Disney Dad Death scene (what Bronies React called it basically)

Not sure how it was built but part of it probably had to do with hiding the crystals, so they figured a Brighthouse would be unassuming enough. It's not the best by far, but it's less obvious than  say, a castle, where everypony would want to get inside.

You've missed nothing.  I had the same question when I watched the first episode of TYT.  I figured MYM's first episode would go over the decision of four of the Mane Five to rebuild the lighthouse and live together in it, but that never happened.  I guess I'm not confused or anything, so...whatever.  However, one would think that would have been a story beat that would have been included in some way, shape or form, even if it was through some brief exchange of dialogue.
