I guess the historic times aren't over. 

Phil and Rex are putting the band back together for the first time in over 20 years with the blessing of the Abbott family and taking up the mantles of Dime and Vinny respectivly are Dime's good buddy Zakk Wylde from Black Label Society and Charlie Benante from Anthrax, where Dime was considered the unofficial 6th member of the band. 

This is nuts. Everyone in Pantera has said if Dime were still alive, there would have been a reunion by now. And now with Vinny gone, I guess Phil and Rex want Pantera to end on better terms. They apperently made a good enough case for Zakk to sign on. He said he wouldn't do it for the longest time. I'd imagine Charlie would want to do right by the memory of his old friends. 

So what do you all think? Should this reunion should've happened at all? Will you go see them when they do a proper farewell tour?

This is wrong on so many levels.  I keep thinking to full logic that it's Phil's fault Pantera ended, his back problems that weren't quickly taken care of, not communicating with Dime and Vinny when he was busy with his side projects and that shocking heavy metal magazine cover that contains the unforgivable words Phil stated towards Dime shortly before the guitarist was unfairly taken from this world.  Doesn't Dime's widow still hate Phil?  Why is Zakk Wylde friends with Phil given the latter's views on social issues?  Not truly Pantera without Dime and Vinny.  Emptier than when Lynyrd Skynyrd reunited in 1987 with new albums made.
