Anybody have an eidetic memory?

No, not really. I just tried with a memory test and that doesn't seem to be case for me. But I am good with visualization. So, I can recreate images and scenes and they looks like the originals. It is fun. I remember visualizing all sort of interesting stuff since childhood. I used to imagine video games, too. And I sometimes made them into paper with their sets of rules and dices. Most of which were never finished, because of how amibitious was my original vision.

And it is the same with art in general. Most of my drawings are unfinished because my actual skill does not match my imagination, and it is a little disheartening. So, I would see this awesome living worlds in my mind, but when it comes to translate them to paper. Well, my abilities are not quite there. But I think with a more structured environment, I could have studied arts. It was a stupid idea trying to emulate my family with medicine. I didn't even care about that stuff. I guess I just wanted recognition. Just imagining being there with the recently diseased. Morbid stuff. And I have a friend who is medic. No problem. He is the kind of guy that can eat a sandwish in front of the dead. But I never thought about that. Once again, deceived by my bad habit to idealize everything.

when I visit places I rarely forget them, like, down to itty bitty details. So maybe that qualifies?

honestly, I love it. I love conjuring up different places in my head and I love the harmoniousness of so much of the spaces we humans create :3 people who <3 me value my advise on how to change their homes in both colour and shape . I am king of 調和

I draw a lot so it’s just automatically have me memorized the images in a order for me to put it on a paper.

I have an incredibly good memory, but it's not particularly visually oriented, so I don't think it would quality as eidetic.  It comes in pretty handy, I guess.  I like being able to remember stuff quite well, but I guess it comes with the dark side of obsessing over things and thinking myself to death like a rampant AI.

I don’t have it, sorry to say. I can record images vividly in my mind for a short time only, because I have an artistic eye for details and can retain mental pictures. But my short-term memory failures have made it nearly impossible to hold on to much of anything for extended periods of time. My long-term memory is very vivid because it dates back to a time before my facilities turned to mush.

I do posses extremely strong photographic memories of places I've been to before, it's probably part of me being on the spectrum like it's some sort of talent of mine, especially when I'm out in the big city or driving on the road, as soon as I'm close to a certain spot I know, that's when I pick up straight away.

I've also been some extraordinary help to people who are with me trying to figure where to go as result of my strong photographic memory, so if you're ever lost, you'll most certainly need my help, hehe!
