Is artwork of your character required?

I would just like to know, in order to create an OC and RP is artwork of your character required or can you do RP without a picture of of your character?

Looks around... Been here a rather long time stranger, to answer your question as far as I'm aware the answer is a no. Artwork has never been a requirement for creating someone, or something. I've always found that so long as you have a decent written description of the pony or other creature you wish to play that is more than sufficient.
