Theorycrafting Spike coming to Chapter 5?

I mean think about it, we have seen the Spike plushy a lot in the series and realistically, out of all of Twilight's friends (Sans Discord and the other alicorns) Spike is the only one who could still be alive in this era. As we know, dragons live thousands of years and tend to sleep for long centuries. Plus it would just be cool to see Spike be sorta a wise figure for the Mane 5. There is so much potential for him.

I'd love to see Spike appear in G5 and be a Yoda-like mentor to the Mane Five. He could teach Sunny how to master her alicorn powers.

Spike in MLP MYM would be interesting, since Discord showed up in the comics, it's possible Spike might show up. Perhaps he'll shed some light to what happened to Equestria.

I'd be very happy to see Spike return in ch. 5 to tell Sunny and friends what happened to Equestria. It would be even cooler to see him take on Opaline if she tries to steal his magic.
