I was just searching for MLP forums and found it!

How you became a fan of My Little Pony

I actually used to watch the old show in the 80s and 90 with my sister but didn't think of it much since then. I started watching Friendship is Magic thanks to a friend in 2012 on Netflix. The first episode had me completely hooked. A year later I went to some meetups and Bronycon which lead me to some great friendships as well as helped get me out of my shy shell.
