Where have all the posts gone?  Anyway...

I guess my first attempt to watch this episode was shortly after it was realesed on the Netflix platform. I loved the previous movie and I really hoped it would only get better. And here comes...

... the dissapoitment  The animation was worst, the characters were shallow, the dialogues were poor (and did they change Izzy's voice actress?). To sum it up, I gave up after 5 min...

And it most likely would have stayed that way if I hadn't encountered @Misty Shadow who has been doing a great job by promoting G5 on the forums. I decided to give it another chance and I will spam my opinion on every episode (sorry) 

I didn't change my opinion about the animation. It would be great to say it's just diffrent but for me it's worst and could have been done better 

Characters development turned out to be better but not for everypony. Hitch is a total opposite of himself in the movie and Sunny behaves like a dummy. Zipp is definatelly the star in this episode.

Dialogues are so-so, but they could have been worse...

The plot is not bad, but why do the actions of ponies in Maretime Bay have the influence to magic throughout Equestria? Not fair, isn't it?

And did I miss a hidden episode in which the ponies rebuild Sunny's lighthouse and decide to live with each other and not build separate rooms, but instead sleep together in a large hall?

Opaline and Misty = Thanos and Gamora 

Teeth... In G4 it's rare see to ponies showing their teeth so it is not that striking. In G5 they show them All. The. Time when they open their mouths. What's wrong about it? Nothing. It's just horses have difffrent type of teeth and every time I see them in G5 I feel weird. Somebody else?

My final note: 4/10

From now it will only get better, right?

He acts different because of the character development he had in the movie, becoming more open-minded and inviting.

I now have a strong impression that some people hate the G5 just because it is not exactly the same as the G4.

The G5 indeed has many flaws, but so does the G4.
