As a child, would you have liked/watched MLP FiM?

Depends on what the era that I am in. If I was a child 10 years ago, I probably would just pass right by MLP on the way to other shows. Like Pokemon! Lol! Though if it were today, then yes I would probably watch MLP FiM, but that might be largely because there isn't much else I would want to watch on the TV I don't think. I would just watch it because I was bored, and I would probably end up liking it. Though I am not too sure how that would play out, but these are my best guesses.

I would have watched it. I used to watch the power puff girls and Card Captors in my youth. That anime will always have a special space in my memory.

I honestly think I would have loved the show even more! I probably would have been pretending I was Twilight Sparkle or Rainbow Dash.

I used to play Muppet Babies! LOL!

I doubt I would have had the maturity to let myself enjoy something like this back then. Too much of a stigma. It would be like playing with Barbies or something, and I would never have given it a chance.

A definite yes. Even as a kid, I never had the "girls/girls' stuff is/are icky" mindset, and I also enjoyed a fair bit of girl-targeted cartoons, so I think I'd have liked this too.

Probably would of liked it. I mean c'mon, I did use to watch those old magical girl animes and those are so much more embarrassing to watch.

At 5 probably not on both accounts. Make it 10 then it would be a definite yes (if I knew about it) because I liked Powerpuff Girls around that age.

I can neither confirm nor deny myself being the cause of electrical related malfunctions. Anyways, you wouldn't happen to have a jar of replacement magic smoke would you?

I honestly feel that I would like it waaaaaay less than I do now.

Lord knows, I wouldn't be lusting over Twilight...

I would honestly have to say no. First of all the kids in my elementary school would rip me apart if I ever said one word about ponies. Also I always thought the Power Puff Girls was a "Girly" show, and if I remeber correctly, I refused to watch it because of that. I like to think my sister taught me how to be more open minded about things when she gave me her music to borrow (hawthorne heights, my chemical romance, dance gaivin dance, etc., all bands not many kids in my town were into). I started relize that just because somethings different, doesn't mean it can't be accepted. /cheesyrant

Hell, if this community wasn't here, only about 20% of people would know how cool this show was. (See what I did there? ;o)
