I found a duffel bag in a thrift that’s worth $600 new (I needed a replacement one); cost less than $10  . I like buying new and then calling it my own, but can’t deny something used at great value.

Depends on the condition of the item I suppose, people would be surprised what they can find second hand that is hardly ever been used at all, I bought a pair of headphones like this from Amazon, used like new, they said the only thing wrong with it was the damage to the packaging, but when it arrived I did not notice any tear or dent on the box, not like it would've mattered, not if the headphones themselves were in working order and intact, and they were, with not even a scratch. The catch? you don't get warranty on second hand items, however if you save money and it works, who cares? the upside, useful items don't get thrown out, less consumption, less waste.

Agreed. I’ve gotten a lot of great stuff second hand, some of which was never used/worn for a good price.

I bought a retro game

Sweet, I bought a retro game as well, called Rollcage. Seemed like a fun racing game by a video I saw, so I decided to give it a try, needs a community made patch for it to work on Windows 11. I used a community made patch to run Sonic Heroes in native widescreen.

More Pokemon TCG cards off of eBay. Why? I refuse to spend over $150 on the product (Prismatic Evolutions in this case) and not be guaranteed any decent pulls.

A new belt and shirt. I hardly buy clothes, but I needed a new belt as the current one has ripped slightly, and I need to replace some of my old, old clothing.

Oh I guess after that I did buy a book of musical studies for trombone (they're just "songs" on trombone, though they don't have names. Just exercises).

Pretty much what @Tao said. I always plan my meals out in advance and make a list of other household essentials I'm running short of. I don't drive and live in a village miles away from any proper supermarkets. So I always have my stuff delivered each month.

The Schiit Magni Unity with the DAC card does sound good, though I did wish there was an R2R option. I suppose people could just pair their Magni Unity headphone amplifier with the Modi multibit DAC, but the problem with that is you got to connect them both using RCA jacks, and I know with short cable runs it isn't as much of an issue, but common mode rejection can still be helpful. For the price though it's hard to argue with the result.

I ordered this storage box for my pencil set. Which I will then later fill up with more pencils and rubbers, so I got plenty of spares for my fan projects at home. Plenty of storage space in this thing it looks like, for sharpener, scissors, you name it. All the typical stationary you can think of, it would fit inside this thing.

I bought a Playstation VR so I could play Star Wars Squadrons with full immersion, but I got such horrible motion sickness from it I promptly returned it. I didn’t like its complicated set-up anyway; it’s far inferior to my Meta Quest 2, which can cause motion sickness too, but it’s simpler and more fun to use. I’m just not a gamer; never have been, never will be.
