What could be some god like or legendary reptiles that exist in Equestria?

So, I've had this thought on my mind for a long time and I wonder, what could be some reptiles that are deity/almost God like power wise...

Examples of things they'd control:

Oceanic tides

Time

Space

Antimatter

 

Also, what type of reptile might it be?

A dinosaur like (sauropod or theropod) species, a lizard like species, a serpent/snake like species, or a crocodilian type species or have it's own unique shape? 

 

Also state how it's temperament might be and signs it may be nearby.

How 'bout the Aztec deity Quetzalcoatl, the Feathered Serpent? He was the Aztec god of knowledge and learning, but was also connected to earth and water. A very similar (or the same?) deity, Kukulkan, was worshiped by the Mayans. Kukulkan also appeared on the animated Star Trek.
