:mlp_icwudt: Welcome to the MLP Forums September 2024 Art contest :pinkie:

The theme for this month is:

Mapping It Out

On the side, our G5 friends have been busy trying to piece together how Equestria's land once looked like. Only one small problem: lots of resources for that kind of information, including older maps, are heavily damaged or lost to time, leading to some ignorance on how Equestria and surrounding territories once bordered each other. However, using a little bit of artistic intuition for what little they do know, they might be able to make a decent looking historical map.

But what will they come up with? Let's help them out!

Requirements

  • The artwork must be a map of G5's innocent interpretation of what G4 Equestria and surrounding territories looked like
    • Any landmarks, towns, cities, and regions don't have to be super restricted to where G4 has canonically placed them
  • All members of MLPF are eligible
  • No AI art will be accepted, however it can be used for initial inspiration
  • Photoshopping or editing images created by others to make your submission is not allowed
  • Animations no longer than 10 seconds are allowed

Deadline

Submissions will close on September 30th, 2024.

Judging

Public voting will be open during October 1st - 8th. Afterwards, voting will be finalized within staff and results will be posted as soon as we are able to share them!

I hope I can draw a map in time. I draw a little bit every day because I don't have much time to draw.
