what are your bad talking habits?

I talk too much and too fast when I get excited. And I often use ten words when two will do. And if I really get revved up, I gesticulate wildly and get tongue-tied.

I'm not sure what you mean by "talking habits" but I just don't like talking to people I don't know.

To be honest, I swear way more than I should. Trying to cut back a bit at the moment. :P

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

All too real, as soon as I hear that the other person swears I get too comfortable too quickly :scoots:

I'm in the habit of speaking faster than I can think, no surprise I stutter sometimes :PIPPIPHURRAY: gotta slow it down.

Probably saying "like" too many times or getting my words mixed up. I feel like I'm always getting tongue tied, for instance, if I tried to say "a collector's edition pony" it'd come out as "a collection editor ponies".

"For **** sake" is probably my most used phrase ever haha.

I also have a tendency to talk too fast. I've been training myself to talk slower, but there are moments when I get excited and fall back on old habits. :PIPPIPHURRAY:

Being too soft-spoken I'd say. Going through speech class has helped. Though going through that class I've stopped using vocalized pauses (um, ah, mmm) and I notice it everytime someone else does it.

I gesture with my hands and arms a lot when I'm talking.

Also, I always feel I have to rush what I want to say. A habit that came about due to always having people interrupt me mid speech or suddenly speaking for me when I was thinking about what I wanted to say. Which has left me as being somewhat of an awkward and eccentric communicator in certain situations.

Quacking between words makes conversations difficult. 🦆😜

Welp, definitely might talk too fast, though I've tried real hard to slow it down with moderate success. If I do speak fast it's because I'm myself.

Have also tried my best to not speak over people as I've done before, taking a pause and letting them go unless they offer me to go first. One's bad talking habits might just be bad listening habits :ooh: .
