What’s the first movie you remember going to see in theaters?

Mary Poppins. On a re-release of some sort.

I listed both movies because I’m not 100% sure which one came first. I was very young.

The Fox & The Hound is an amazing masterpiece, I'm glad they were showing some of the older Disney movies in the theatres at that time.

I'm sure you'd have loved to see Batman, but at least you got a good one as an alternate.

Funny enough it was Finding Nemo for me as well. I remember going to see it at a mall movie theater which is now completely defunct along with the mall itself.

The first movie that I actually can remember going to see in a theater was the first Ghost Rider. I probably went to others before but can't remember them. Ghost Rider sticks out to me though because a kid I was friends with got his dad to take us to see it and his car wouldn't start after the movie so I had to wait for my own dad to show up.

Pokemon the first movie, I even remember that the theatre I went to was giving out a special Mew card for a certain amount of people that bought tickets.

I got one, but lost it a few years later due to my own carelessness
