Do You Have Fairylights, LED, Disco Balls, etc.?

Recommended Posts

After many, many years, I finally have batteries for my fairylights. This is the first time since 2017-2018 that they've been this bright! Do any of you have fairylights or LED lights, a disco ball, or maybe even one of those projectors that project images across your room when turned on? I'd like to know and maybe even see! :party-pone:

Having many lights like that may be a fire hazard:sealed:  I don't have these lights.

Like Christmas every day!

I don’t have any fancy lights though buying some sure is tempting.

Like this perhaps..

I don't have them, at least not intentionally. I have a few servers and they have lights on them, but nothing on purpose.

I have a bunch of lights strung up around my room, unfortunately no pics of when they all had batteries - it's real nice when it's all lit up.

I do however have some pics of the UV blacklight LED strips and UV reactive tapestries. 7ShpzIF.png

This one didn't come out so great in a photo. XrwCp8I.png

One of my amps also has a red/green backlight and I put some Gothic LED candles on it for that extra doomy-ness. KaDsIWV.png

Also have a laser projector for the ceiling but again - no photos/video rn.

I have so many lighting novelties at home! They include a string of blue fairy lights around my desk, a set of colored motion activated lights in my bedroom, a toilet light (yes, you heard correctly, and I got the idea right here on the forums!) I have colored lighting pole (like the one @Snow posted a pic of), a lava lamp (purple with white wax), four neon decorations (Moon, Saturn, Cross and Soda sign), and a planetarium with assorted discs. Atmospheric lighting is so important to a contented frame of mind. I also have an ‘auxiliary’ Christmas tree which is compact so I put up intermittently from August to March. You just can’t beat Christmas lights.

I have some varieties that I bought not too long before moving. Unfortunately they haven't made the move yet. Maybe I can convince my parents to put them in the next box they're shipping to me? lol.

@Dreambiscuit I do agree ambient lighting does SO much for a living space, obviously I understand if people cannot afford extras like that but when it's within budget it stuns me people don't invest more in making their spaces feel truly 'theirs'?!

I do have some fairy lights up but they are battery powered and I haven't replaced the batteries in a while - been looking for some bulbs for the balcony so we can sit outside at night with nice ambient lighting and they will conveniently connect to a plug socket by the balcony window so they will always be bright when we use them :]

  • 2 weeks later...

Look what came in the mail for me today!

These are some of the ones I bought in anticipation of moving. My parents sent them to me without even asking! How about that? Now I've gotta figure out what to do with them. lol

I use LED strips on my computer desk if that counts, I really want to finish the ornaments so I can photo it and show you. I'm missing a Princess Luna figurine for the ornament on my shelf but the rainbow LEDs work wonders with the Ponyfication of my computer desk, it's so cute and awesome.

And yeah I do use my Raspberry Pi 5 for music too, which is why I got these speakers, which also have LEDs.
