Removing One of the Mane 6?

Definitely Twilight. Recently, all she has been doing is getting promotions and sitting on her lazy flank while complaining about how bored she is. I personally find her incredibly annoying. Her character went into a slow downward spiral after her ascension. After she got her wings and became a princess, she complained about having no duties or kingdom. After she got her kingdom, she sat on her butt, did nothing, and whined.

 

When Rainbow Dash and Pinkie went to Griffonstone, she complained about how the map wasn't sending her as if she couldn't afford a Celestia-forsaken train ticket. She went to Canterlot on her own to meet her old friends, so there's literally nothing stopping her from going anywhere. I personally loved old, bookish Twilight, but if spoiled-whiny-alicorn Twilight were to go, It would improve the show for me.

You can't just remove one of the mane 6. For one, they're pretty much ingrained in the show. I don't care if you have a vendetta against one of them, it simply would not work.

Even Twilight, miss "perfect".

And another thing, it would destroy the core of the show.

I'm suddenly reminded of hasbro's "brilliant" plan in the 80s of killing off or shunting off the well known show cast in the movies in favor of introducing completely new characters in their places XD

Reading through this thread the incredible double standard the fandom used to have in regard to Rainbow and Rarity depresses me. 

Seriously why were people so much harder on Rarity for her flaws than on Dash? especially when Rarity's episodes even back then were generally considered BETTER than most of Dashes that weren't Sonic Rainboom and she was already learning her lessons without someone having to beat them into her.

Anyway voted Fluttershy, she's totally faded into the background and was never particularly interesting.

I'd say get rid of them all except Twilight so we can have the Canterlot Six reform! 

 

Just kidding, hehe. Yes, I love the concept of the Canterlot Six but really, it's not gonna happen. We might hear it mentioned in a later episode but that chance is probably slim. When "What About Discord?" comes around, it'll probably say Twilight visited Celestia or something.

 

I'll keep my hopes up but I won't expect anything.
