I decided to try drawing a pony, for the first time, so here I drew Rarity. Please tell me how I did.. comments and constructive criticism are welcome. It took me 2 and a half hours.

EDIT: I don't know if this makes a difference, but I drew this imagining her sitting down. That may explain her rather thick neck.

You did a fantastic job! Better than what I can do. Its also pretty impressive for your first attempt.

I love how you Colored her, it is really a great piece of art, the only thing is the thickness of the neck :) but it's an awesome drawing! :) nice work!

A pretty good first try, Some proportion issues, but other than that very solid :)

This is really great for a first time, the only thing that needs improvement is the neck, as it needs to curve outward a bit, overall, it's a great piece for a first time. Keep it up!

I think the reason you guys think her neck is thick is because I drew her imagining she was sitting down. I don't know if that makes a difference.
