writing Odd

I am getting these odd feelings,

and these of witch I cannot understand.

 

I'm so confused at the moment,

my heart doesn't know what to think.

 

One side of me is scared of a thought,

a thought of losing a friend.

 

For it feels like she wants to talk to me less,

it feels like we are drifting apart.

 

I am afraid to talk to her,

afraid to make a mistake.

 

And it feels as if it is my fault,

that I am the one to blame.

 

If only I weren't so selfish,

if only I weren't so stupid.

 

I may still have her,

but I fear I have lost her.

 

And now I feel alone again,

the growing feeling in my chest expanding.

 

I don't know why I feel so alone,

maybe it is because I have lost my love.

 

My heart has been left broken,

and my body has followed.

 

*Sigh*

 

Why can't I have a normal life,

a normal love.

 

Why isn't there anyone there who will accept me for who I am,

and take me for what I'm not.

 

But it's all the same,

and it never changes.

 

I had hoped you would come back running,

but now I do not want this anymore.

 

She has hurt me further,

and now I must ignore her.

 

*Sigh*

 

Why must I go through this misery.
