CMC Mini-Series?

Perosnally, I would like a CMC mini-series. I love the CMC and would love to see more of them. A mini-series would allow us to get more in depth with the fillies and see the crazy things they do! Plus it would leave more possibilities for Season 3.

I would love a Cutie Mark Crusaders mini-series!! Though I'd rather have it not be part of an official season and sort of just be a couple episodes when there isn't an actual season going on.

I personally think a CMC miniseries would be great.

We get to learn more about them, and maybe... JUST maybe... Scootaloo would get her own episode (maybe... the producers obviously have something against her)

I don't know that the producers have something against her, insomuch as they need to give her a background and personality that is safe for the kid-friendly environ that the show is setting up. This being a kid's show, they are going to avoid things like calling her an orphan, similar to how the Apple family hasn't had their parents confirmed dead yet.

CMC-centric episodes are a mixed bag: you have your gems ("Ponyville Confidential") and your clunkers ("Hearts and Hooves Day"). The best CMC episodes tend to involve the Mane Six in some capacity, so focusing exclusively on the CMC would probably get very old, very quickly.

They do that in kids shows sometimes.

Remember Omi from Xiaolin Showdown? He was a confirmed orphan. And don't even get me started on Disney. Sure they had the infamous Mufasa death from years ago, but they still have it now. In The Princess And The Frog, the main character's dad died of stress, and in Tangled she was freakin' kidnapped as a baby!

All i'm saying is, they REALLY don't need to soften Scootaloo's possible back story that much

As always, your mileage may vary. My opinion of the matter is that the episode suffered from a distinct lack of the Mane Six, but that discussion is really meant for the episode thread.

They do deserve a FEW (a very very few, maybe 1 or 2) more episodes about them but besides that NO. I do not want to see them encroach on my mane 6 time because mane 6 time is best time. Though Sweetie Belle is adorable

Well, that's true, but somehow Disney has been able to get away with more crap than anyone else, and the fact that those are movies, and this is a TV show. Again, the Apple family was already supposed to be orphans but that got nerfed.

Keyword "Mini". It doesn't have to be telivised. It could be a web series or DTV.

I'm all for it, but they need to have more beef to the sandwich. 'Try this, fail, try this, fail, try this, fail' would get old tediously quickly. So some personal problems, other issues and other new characters to be used would be nice. For me, I'd still like the three of them to interact with their sisters/sisterly-like-figure in Scoot's case here and there when needed, but not so much the other characters. So maybe a new series in the sense of a spin-off, but still located in Ponyville and such, just an entire focus around the three of them.

Couldn't agree more. Again, I'm not saying that it should be like a 50-episode thing. Just a small series of episodes is all. And honestly Direct-To-Video or a web series is are the best options imo.
