"I was searching for bones, to carve." he said not mentioning he practically lived up in these mountains. He lifted up his scarf and showed the pony the bone necklace he was wearing, and pointed to his ear piercings. "Like that" he said, not mentioning his bone weapons he had on him.

So...he's a vulture in other words. Taking the bones of creatures and carving them. Huh, this pony. "Well, I don't think you'll find any bones in this here cabin." Carrick looked back at Snow who was still asleep. He wonder what we should do after we finish this break and head off to find Twilight Sparkle. He started considering options.

"What purpose do the bones have?" Asked Starbolt interested on their function.

'He won't be collecting bones if they don't do anything, and it's not like they are worn as a decoration.' She thought as she waited for his answer.

[Chickey 383]

"Well i could make some bones." a snide thought in the back of his mind come to the front. He quickly blocked it out. "I noticed." he said simply. "I didn't expect any pony else to be here, actually"

 

He then turned to Star "Well, i use them as a type of clothing i guess." he lied "Not much else" he had a brown leather pack at his side. The contents were unknown.

Starbolt read through more pages of her conjuration book.

"Oh, well feel free to stay for awhile." she offered Hypno.

"Is he dangerous?" She whispered to Carrick while Hypno was looking at his orange.

"Oh, well alright" he said as he pulled up a chair and sat down. He took another bite of the orange, trying to at least look like he enjoyed it. He had finally been able to finish it, in fact he looked rather sad afterward.

A quick feeling of chill came through Carrick. This pony did have a presence that Carrick could read. He didn't seem bad...but, not good either. Carrick had a suspicion that this pony wasn't telling the whole truth either, as he ate the orange. He didn't seemed to happy that he finished it.

 

"He might be. However, I don't think he's with Ice Star." Carrick replied back to Starbolt. He turned to see the pony, he looked rather sad, "You ok?" Carrick asked him.

Hypno looked up "Oh, i'm just... fine" he said faking a smile. The fact he could barely stomach normal food sickened him. He took his time to browse the room his was in, practically scanning it with his eyes.

Starbolt read through the rest of the book and put it down.

'Now let's see if I can actually get the spell right, but first we have this new pony to take care of.' She thought.

"You want an apple?" She asked as she levitated one next to Hypno.

Hypno was so focused on Carrick, that he didn't even notice the apple. It startled him for a second as he out of instinct pulled a bone carved blade from his pack and sliced the apple in clean in half. But the odd thing was, he didn't use his hooves. The knife was levitating with a aura that matched his eyes. And he clearly lacked a unicorn horn "I blew it now..." he thought.

"What!" Starbolt exclaimed

"H-how d-ddid you do that?" She asked extremely confused.

'He is NOT a unicorn how did he levitate? What? How?' Starbolt thought as she could not comprehend what just happened.

"I think i should be leaving now..." he said dodging the question. He put the knife back in the pack and shut the pack. "That question you asked is not exactly one i like to answer."

[NinjaCPU 270]

"Well, he clearly has other powers that are equivalent to unicorn or alicorn powers." Carrick concluded, "That's interesting to say the least." Carrick looked at the weapon and the pony.

 

"No, I think I'd like to have some answers, instead" Carrick said to Hypno as he blocked the way out. There was something wrong with this pony, he like to get to the bottom of it.

Starbolt composed herself, she saw Carrick block Hypno's way out.

Starbolt expected Hypno to do something.

She readied a spell. 'I wonder if he is going to attack.' She thought as she waited for Hypno's decision.

"Due to me fully answering that question i've been sitting on this mountain alone for quite some time now" he explained. "But fine, the particular magic i just accidentally used was black magic" he said hoping he only needed to half explain himself

"How do you cast black magic? You don't have a horn." She asked Hypno interested in this discussion.

'Magic without a horn? That's amazing.' She thought still confused why no other pony knows about this.

 

(OOC I might have to go soon. Got to wake up early tomorrow.)

"With these" he said as he pointed to his eyes. He looked quite uncomfortable now, scared actually. "They're gonna kill me, i'm actually going to die now" he thought rather frantically as his pupils shrunk.

"Huh, so you have magic within your eyes. What a peculiar way to do magic. Were you born with them?" Carrick asked. He was curious about this pony. We have an Alicorn, a demon, and now a pony who has black magic. What an interesting bunch.

Starbolt looked at his eyes.

"That's.... Amazing....." She mumbled in awe.

"Why do you want to leave?" She asked Hypno wanting him to stay.

 

We have an Alicorn, a demon, and now a pony who has black magic.

 

(OOC yep nothing interesting about Carrick and Starbolt. )

"Yes, sadly. But it was something i unlocked after a while" he explained to Carrick. He didn't know what else to say now. But had hid one last secret.

He then looked to Starbolt "Well, seeing my magic type i'm surprised no ones attacked me yet. It's practically against the law to perform black magic last time i checked." he said

"Well I'm not going to attack you." She said to Hypno..

"In fact I find your magic intriguing." She added.

(OOC Heading to bed. Ninja/Carrick you can control Starbolt if something important happens, but let me do the summoning of Starbolt's familiar with Blaze.)

Hypno felt a bit more comfortable now. "A-alright" He rested in the chair thankful that went a bit better than expected, and that he didn't have to tell them everything yet. But he was going to have to sometime soon.

Starbolt noticed Hypno settle down and sit back down on the chair.

She sat down in another chair and started to reread the conjuration book given to her.

Hypno was still unsure of what Carrick would think, but didn't say anything and waited silently. He shut his eyes and leaned his head back in a feeble attempt to get some rest for what is to come.

"It is against the law to do that kind of magic" Carrick said, as he remembered the law book well. "However, I'm not going to arrest you. I have bigger matter in my hooves to do something is trivial...uhh, what's your name?" Carrick said.
