If you think that my will goes away by some sort of vampire, that isn't going to work either. I suggest you tried some other method, because he already that on me." Carrick referred to Corpus who had beaten him up quite good.

"What you think i'm trying to break you or something? No, no, i'm just messin' with ya. But i know exactly how to break you." He said with a chuckle. He morphed back and adjusted himself. "But if you insist, i shall oblige?"

Starbolt felt better knowing Carrick was here. She looked at Blood's transformed form, no longer afraid. She wondered how he would break Carrick's will. For some reason she knew it involved her.

Carrick glance back at Starbolt, He's probably referring to Starbolt. Carrick looked at the him, he wonder if he could use him. Maybe be able to break the runic bonds that are around this room. "Maybe you can, however, let me ask you something. What do you get from this pony?" He asked him.

Carrick shook his head, he remembered what Ice Star had said, "I don't think you understand what will happened do you? This world would be useless and it won't just be destroyed. It will be altered. For all you know, you won't exist by the time all of this ends." Carrick said.

Carrick shook his head, "What makes you think you'll survive this? Have you gotten Ice Star's word that tells you that would happened? For all you know he'll backstab all of his group to obtain the power of a god. You seem to be okay with your own life so you're willing to take that risk?"

"Lets just say i have a backup plan, and Ice star is helping me achieve it" He said "But that doesn't concern you, telling you my plan foils it now doesn't it?" He said with a chuckle

Carrick tapped the floor, He was curious about his so called back up plan. He was going to push it further "So, do you think he'll let you get this backup plan you speak of? Can the plan be achieved right now? Maybe he has a plan up his sleeve." Carrick questioned his loyalty to this Ice Star.

"Does 'not going to say anything so i don't foil it' mean nothing to you?" He asked with a laugh. "All i know is i'm supposed to kill your group, and i plan on starting that soon, toying with them first though, then picking them off one by one, and making you watch. You can be sure i'll save her for last and make you watch as i drain her dry and throw her away like a worthless pistachio shell."

Carrick shook his head, he ignored Blood's attempts to scare him. Many ponies have done that before, they told him they'd kill his mother, his father and now they started with his lover. His marefriend, he turned to Starbolt. Than back at Blood, "I never ask about your plan, I asked hypothetical question that you should of ask yourself. Maybe they'll have something up their sleeves, maybe your plan will fail because of them. You'll be dying because of it." Carrick had no clue what his back-up plan is, he just went and asked the questions regardless.

Starbolt's eyes shrunk when she heard what Blood was planning. "You... You w-won't do that!" She yelled at Blood, obviously unsettled by what they were discussing. She looked at Carrick hoping to find comfort with him.

"What are you trying to give me advice now? I'm sorry, but i out age you by quite a lot, you'd think id have time to formulate a back up plan in case of a untimely death for me." He said then turned to Starbolt. "What makes you think i wont, talking food?"

Carrick turned to Starbolt, he whispered to her "Show no fear, Starbolt. That's what he's wants." He turned back to Blood, "Maybe you are older than me, but you seem to be but a fool regardless. You seem to risk your life and have a plan for you plan in case you die. Well, what about when you live. You're willing to risk a lot for this plan. " He shook his head, "What about your back-up plan? You don't think Ice Star doesn't have plan for that as well? Hypothetically speaking of course. He may not be older than you, but he seem to be smarter than you. Age doesn't mean intelligence."

"What makes you think Ice Star will try to stop me and not you? He isn't stupid enough to try to dabble with his own allies while a gang of ponies can stop him." He said "But you are going to eat those words, fool" He said as he seemingly melted away to shadow, then re-appeared next to Carrick and sent a kick right into his ribs to try to knock him away.

Starbolt saw him kick Carrick. "You will pay for that." She said with contempt. Starbolt threw a punch applying what Quickly taught her directed at Blood's face. Starbolt put all her force in this punch.

Blood laughed as he turned back to shadow, letting all of her momentum fall through as he appeared behind her and grabbed her by the neck, opening his mouth as he formed back to a monster like form "Seems were in a dillemma now..." He said as he started to lean in towards her neck. At any second he could snap his jaws down and bite in.

Starbolt turned to Carrick. She looked him with terror in her eyes. She struggled under Blood's grip but she couldn't get free. Starbolt began to feel panic build up. She wanted to scream but she won't give Blood that satisfaction.

Blood felt a rush of pure joy as he could feel the fear illuminating off from Star. He leaned in a little lower as she struggled and actually had his fangs touching her neck now. He started to laugh rather maliciously now as he stared at Carrick..

Carrick took the blow of the kick, he wheezed as he needed time to get his air back. He saw Starbolt go commando and failed as she got captured by Blood. He didn't react to it, he knew what would happened if he did any form of fear or reaction. He gave a big "heh,"

 

"My, my. I think I hit a little nerve when I called you a fool." Carrick coughed still, he felt the pain from his ribs, he held his chest as he continued his speech, "I guess we are in a little dilemma, however. You are still a fool."

 

"Granted he did stop me, but let me ask you something. Did you know he wanted me alive? I would of been a tomato by now, if weren't for him. I seem to be a bigger part of this than I thought." Carrick coughed once more, blood started to trickle upon his lips. He saw the look of Starbolt's eyes. His body wanted to go and give him what he wants, but he continued, "Now what about you? I think you must be new since I've never seen you. Now, let me ask you...do you know his plan? Do you know what he's going to do? How he's going to do it? Any bit at all?"

 

Carrick went to sit down, "Did he say was going to help you, but hasn't yet? Are you just a solider an expendable piece of an army? Something that he doesn't care if you live or die? I'm not sure if you do know his plan, but if you don't than you are a solider. Just a piece than can be thrown away when all of this is done. Are you just trash? Well, are you?"

"Your little pistachio here isn't gaining anything from your little speech, in fact she might lose a pint if you keep up the same topic you have going on here" He said with a grin as he readied himself.

Carrick needed to take the risk, even if he begged for her life it wouldn't of matter. He could tell from Blood's demeanor that he would of done it anyway, just to see him break down, "You didn't answer my question, are you just a solider? Are you just a vampire with a big ego who thinks he's better than anypony else, but in reality is just a weak solider. Well?"

Starbolt felt the Blood's fangs on her neck. Carrick seemed not to care what happens to her. She wondered why? She looked at him hoping he would try to help her. Starbolt was already contemplating whether or not to risk casting a spell.
