My First MLP Drawing

I just finished this, I used a picture for reference but im pretty happy with the way it turned out, and sorry, I dont have a scanner so i had to take a photo.

I don't draw Fluttershy or Dash that often and so I wouldn't know how the wings are. (Yeah I draw too much Twi <3)

The tail could use some more highlighting, and for more advanced stuff you can try shading, but I'm not sure if that works on a picture that's already coloured.

To reduce smudges, outline the picture in pen or marker (sharpie, not crayola) first, then colour.

If anyone wants to compare this is the pic I used for reference.

 

Ive decided that in going to turn this into a full drawing, the only thing left now is the grass and sky. ive added road, a tree with birds perching, and angel, im happy with the way angel turned out although his arms are a bit skinny, also the birds were rushed and didn't turn out too well, should i add an animal on Fluttershy head? if so what animal?

I was about to say the same thing; as a first time image that's all I'd argue to improve on. Definitely better than what I first started drawing.

Constructive Criticism (sorry if I'm a bit harsh):

Her forehead is as big as Canada. You might want to make the eyes a bit bigger, less squinty. That would definitely fix it. Also, if you look at Fluttershy's wings, they look a bit like hands (there's even 5 feathers sticking out, what a coincedence!) Her tail has quite a big arch to it, too. I like her mane (Sweetie Belle reference, anyone?) and her back legs, I've been drawing ponies for almost a year and my ponie's back legs are just starting to improve, good job there.
