Loneliness


Sometimes it feels like the world is out to hurt me.


Why are others allowed happiness, while I am left with sadness?


It seems like there is no one out there for me, no one for me to give my love.


I just sit at home, wondering why I am cursed as I am.


I am too shy to talk to girls, yet I used to be able to.


Now whenever I see women, I see monsters who are out to destroy my heart.


As that is the only thing that has been happening to me.


I have put my heart on the line for so many people.


And it get returns on a silver platter, crushed into dust.


There is a terrible emptyness that is growing within my heart.


A feeling I wish I could fill.


I try to fill it in with other things, but the hole only get's bigger.


I wish someone could understand my cry for help.


I wish someone would understand that I want to love.


The world is out to destroy me.


And, much to my dismay.


I fear it may be working.

I definitely know how you feel. I'm glad though that you could at least get in touch with your feelings, and write them in the form of this touching poem. It really struck a cord with me, and I'm sure it'll strike a cord with a lot of others too. Which means you're not alone in your feeling. I know how much it hurts. The loneliness has eaten at me for years. Even with friends, I still feel lonely sometimes. I can't really sit here and tell you that it gets better, and to hope for better things, because that just sounds cliched and I know how empty I feel inside when people tell me. All I can say though is that you are definitely not alone, and I feel for you.

 

If you ever want somebody to talk to though, I am here. Even if you don't really know me that much at all.

Look at the readers of your fanfiction. You are giving them hope and inner faith, which seems to have yet be found within yourself.

 

I'm quite honestly in the same boat, but for different reasons. If you ever want to talk, or even if you just need to vent, don't hesitate to send me a message.

 

I know you barely know me, but I'm being serious. I'm here for you. Send a message whenever you need someone, okay?

I'm going to say what a lot of others have said in this thread already. We feel your pain, reading this though put a smile on my face. The reason for that being that I did (and sometimes still do) the same thing.

From my experience so far it doesn't become better. It does however teach you. If you want a Brony to talk to, just to vent, or want some advice I am also open. Don't be shy! :)

That is why I intend to stay alone (As in a couple relationship) throughout my life. Too many storys of broken hearts and couples scareing me off.

 

At this point I see love as a gamble you just can't win. So I intend not to play that game.
