I'm actually really surprised This topic hasn't been done on this site at least I haven't found one.

 

it's simple, rank your top 10 favorite animated television shows.

 

Here's mine:

 

1. BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES:

This is my favorite cartoon of all time. It was Dark, funny, action packed, and just like the Tim Burton movies, it showed that Batman as a character could be taken seriously. He wasn't just some billionare who fought crime; he was a deep, complex character with a deep psychological profile. Plus it has bar none the best cast of villains in any animated show period. Easy #1 choice for me.

 

 

2. MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC:

Most of you have heard others review this show a billion times, so I'll keep it short. It's light hearted, funny, the Animation is top notch and it has an awesome cast of 3-dimensional characters that I all like for various reasons. Plus, this is probably the best fandom I've ever been a part of, seriously I love you guys

 

 

3. DRAGONBALL Z:

As a kid, when I wasn't watching Batman the Animated Series, I was watching Dragonball Z. Plain and simple. This show gets a lot of hate for its slow pacing, but personally I think it does a wonderful job of building tension. Plus Dragonball Z has probably the best fight scenes of any cartoon of it's day, and they still hold up really well. In my personal opinion, no animated show has come close to rivaling DBZ's fight scenes except for Avatar: the last airbender.

 

 

4. AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER:

There are very few ways to describe this gem other than 'EPIC'. It was beautifully animated, funny, had action scenes to rival DBZ, and was just a well told story. Other than MLP:FiM, I would say that Avatar: The last airbender holds the title for most likable protagonists.

 

 

5. FUTURAMA:

One of the funniest shows you will ever watch, period. I honestly don't think that Futurama has ever aired a bad episode. This show is so awesome I hold true to the fact that for every situation ever, there is a suitable Futurama quote for it.

 

 

6. Batman Beyond:

Probably my favorite incarnation of Batman. This show had the balls to try something new with the character of batman, and it worked. Like the animated series it was dark and edgy, but it was also sleek and new. Great show.

 

 

7. Freakazoid:

I should really say Animaniacs in general, But Freakazoid holds a special place in my heart :'). It was really funny, but could also be action packed at times.

 

 

8. x-men the animated series:

This is more out of nostalgia for me than anything else. I remember loving this cartoon (Though I didn't watch it nearly as much as Batman the animated series or Dragonball Z). Not going to lie, this show also held my first cartoon crush ever lol Rogue you fox

 

 

9. Adventure time:

Alright, who doesn't like the adventures of Finn and Jake? didn't get into this show until quite recently (Even more recent than MLP:FiM) But I have to say it's a gem.

 

 

10. Spawn (90's cartoon, not the movies):

Have to be honest, I was never allowed to watch this show as a kid. I did revisit it recently however, and I have to say I love the dark atmosphere of the show.

1: MLP: FiM. Cute, well-done show. Dash is now my favorite cartoon or video game character along with Naruto Uzumaki and Miles 'Tails' Prower.

 

2: Naruto/Naruto: Shippuden. Amazing anime. Nuff said.

 

3: Phineas and Ferb. One of the greatest cartoons on nowadays, it's hilarious, clever, well-structured and fun. Plus Dr. Doofenshmirtz, the villain, is only matched in humorous villain traits by Discord himself.

 

4: One Piece. Another epic anime.

 

5: AoSTH/SatAM, two best Sonic cartoons, equally awesome for different reasons.

 

6: Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Awesome cartoon is awesome and needs no explanation.

 

7: Courage the Cowardly Dog. Same as above.

 

8: Teen Titans. Loved that show so much.

 

9: Batman: Animated Series. Yeah sure, don't want it anymore, but I did back when and it's an incredible masterpiece.
