I'm thinking you meant unoriginal? If that's the case, I can see where you're coming from. I just wanted a nice simplistic Octavia background. The lighting in Discord one gives the dark and eery feel and his body being dimly lit and also with a tinge of red helps the vector bled in with the picture a lot easier and feel more natural. The CMC one has that epic look to it. The colours are good and the glow adds to the feel of the the epicness. The picture of Ponyville could have been a bit more noticeable though because it is very easy to miss and It's hard see it even when I'm looking really closely. The Octavia one is a nice classic and simple one and it similar to other Octavia Octavia due to the colours and the initial impression but it still has own unique look and feel once you study it a bit more. It's too small for my native resolution... xD But luckily due to the art style of MLP FiM it's not really noticeable. Great job on it, seriously! They really stand out strongly amongst the crowd of other wallpapers inhabiting the internet. The Discord one comes off the best personally with the dark tones of red that goes in-tuned with the figure. I have no problems with this. The Cutie Mark one feels a bit strange with the bottom half. While the top is full of energy and spunk, the bottom comes off almost too plain, especially near the borders. The Octavia one feels well balanced. With the CMC wallpaper, I was trying to emulate the style of a fairly popular wallpaper artist. Not quite used to the style, really, and I agree I could have done more with the bottom half. And it's Mayor Mare. These are very well done! While I may know or not know what it is that has you feeling uninspired, let it be known you've got talent many here would love to possess! Great job!
